[SOLVED] All Skirmish MP trophies explained step by step. Possible.

After servers closure and no response from EA to let them open (obviously they would only send a sorry letter as best) I think we should try to share experiences on Skirmish battles against CPU. I did found an old topic talking about this and we might agreed on the hard difficult for this platinum right now. If story missions on Hard were not enough, now you're supposed to play against an furious, ruthless and devastating CPU from Medium to Brutal difficulty.

While some trophies are not asking for "Medium" difficulty, you can trick CPU to work for you on "Easy" difficulty. For instance, you start a match against 1 CPU on EASY, then 40.000 Money and as soon as you begin you focus on creating some fast movement units to attack. You will hit main base and all the bases you need. For instance if you're going to get the 30 units kill with a single super bomb (Vaccuum Imploder, etc) let enemy Barracks alive but destroy everything else. Enemy will keep spamming infantry units to your base as long as they have money. This is just an example.

 

Don't forget to save your game every good steps done, depending on how the match is going. If you planned to rush your attack with a lot of soviet choppers, because they're great to attack ground units from the air, but you get killed and fail, just download again and try to attack from a different angle or make some changes in your tactic, like getting 3-4 MIG jets air-to-air or something to protect your choppers, for instance.

 

Saving the game every 2 minutes will be basically the best tip for these kind of trophies.

Bloodsucker
Leech 7 different enemy weapons using Hammer Tanks in a ranked online match or skirmish

According to this guide, it's the hardest to get, but i'm not quite sure about that, remember we can save the game and there is no need to leech with the same Hammer Tank, in fact, it won't count in theory. I think it would be harder if they want you to do everything with the same Hammer Tank.

 

As we can save game anytime we want I think rushing some refineries would be great, but it will be hard or impossible to rush to all 3 enemies.

Of course, don't play against 3 enemies in the same group.

Also, no need to play on medium, you can play on Easy for this trophy. That's the theory.

 

EDIT: I can't believe I just did it. That was 2 days in a match testing different things. So I will try to short brief this.

1. Probably it would be a good idea to put enemies on the same group (2) and you on one group (1), so, it's 3 Vs. 1. In any case, I did Free for all.

2. Every step you do, save game. Sometimes in the same game CPU will make different units to attack you or defend, it's definitely not the same every time. Westwood was good on IA in this matters since 30 years.

3. As the guide says, there are different weapons to leech depending, but now this is important: When getting a weapon you will hear a different noise, then, move away from enemies, go back to normal cannon mode and with your camera zoom in and get the different Hammer Tank, All of them got one big cannon on the right but the left cannon changes when you kill another unit. Specially the Soviet super long missiles are very notorious by far and you will see it.

4. Big plasma laser tower from Rising Sun i think it can be leech but cannot confirm it, and that's the same weapon as the Tank long distance plasma laser from Rising Sun, I got the same weapon killing these two.

5. There are 2 different kind of machine gun, one of the it's like Anti-Air and the other one is normal one Minimi, but there is also and Anti-Air Dual Cannon that you get from Bullfrogs for instance.

6. King Oni Warrior from Rising Sun, or whatever its name, I got it 2 times but didn't get any weapon.

7. Finally, again, expand yourself and try not to attack enemy base, just survive all their super weapons abilities and get a lot of money, like 4 expansions with a lot of turrets to protect yourself. You will be continously attacked but you must survive and then move to the enemy camp without attacking or just attack Barracks if you want and Hangar, do not destroy too much because if not CPU will enter in a "surviving mode" and will only keep creating soldiers and send them to you. If you want to change this "surviving mode" just stay away from that enemy camp like for 5 minutes and they will start again to do some other different expensive tanks or super tanks.

8. Did you detected some of your Hammer Tanks got different weapons? Take a chopper, carry this tank to the air and move it to your base or to somewhere else protected with Miigs so nobody can attack your choppers. DO THIS WITH ALL YOUR DIFFERENT HAMMER TANKS and move to the next. If you leave them unprotected or protected at your base probably they will be killed by some superweapon. Keep this in mind. Best way to protect them is putting them on air.

9. I can't confirm this, but I got the trophy dropping all these tanks to the ground again. When I got the trophy they were on the ground, but definitely something strange happened cause I killed a Mirage tank and got the weapon twice, but only when all of them were on the ground I did get the trophy, so... Keep that in mind too.

This is how your tanks should look. Notice there are 6 differents here and 1 "vanilla tank" in front. I couldn't get a picture of all 7.

It was a 2 days long match, as I said, trying different things and saving on different files, like 6 files on my case, moving backwards when necessary.

That was hard and I'm glad I finally got it, so, to confirm you guys: IT IS POSSIBLE TO ACHIEVE against CPU Skirmish battle mode.

Meat Grinder
Crush 20 enemy units in a ranked online match or skirmish (medium-or-greater difficulty)

This one must be done on Medium difficulty.

I'm guessing playing a 1vs1 match against a Medium CPU would work, but you gotta totally rush buildings and refineries ASAP on the very first 5 minutes and then leave enemy barracks safe so enemy can spam you some infantry units time to time to your base. Even without refineries enemy will still have like 30.000$ to spend on infantry enemies. Now the thing is to create bigger tanks, like hammer tanks, and change ability to leech mode, so they can't attack, or pushin R2 and change their position to NON-ATTACK passive (Choose the Shield when you select your units and press and hold R2). This way your tanks will only move.

Sword Saint
Cut down 15 enemy units with sword attacks in a ranked online match or skirmish

This one is easy. Don't need to be on Medium so you can play on Easy. You gotta play with Rising Sun faction and create some of the first infantry units. Now, go attack the enemy and try to kill all the infantry soldiers by pressing R2+SQUARE to use your ability. This ability will last for 20 seconds or so, so you must be pretty nearby your enemies.

 

Plus: You're playing against CPU so probably you want to just get rid of all other buildings really quick but Barracks so they can make a lot of soldiers.

High Speed, Low Drag
Arm 10 Multigunner IFVs with different weapons in a ranked online match or skirmish

This one is self explanatory on the trophy guide in this page. You can play on Easy and you can literally destroy the entire enemy base but the barracks AND main base.. Once you have it there all alone and CPU is totally dead and not responding, just go to the barracks with an engineer and capture it. Now create some units with them in order to put them on the Multigunner IFV. Remember one thing: You have to create all enemy ground units, and if you don't have your main base that will be impossible to do cuz you need to build some things for the final ground infantry units. They're blocked at first.

 

Maybe it will be good to play with 2 enemies Free For All and get two barracks from Rising Sun and Allies instead.

 

EDIT: Done already, it must be ten different Multigunner IFVs with all these units capture from Soviets and Allies:

 

Allies:

1. Dogs
2. Infantry
3. Javelyn
4. Engineer

5. Spy

6. Tanya

 

Soviets:

 

7. Bears

8. Infantry

9. Missile guy

10. Natasha

 

Once you put them all on ten different IFVs you will immediately get the trophy.

The Knowledge
Capture 6 structures in a ranked online match or skirmish (medium-or-greater difficulty)

My tactic was literally the same I've been explaning on the very first map, but I almost killed the enemy and then capture all 5 neutral buildings in the map. Then, I needed one more, so I went to enemy base and capture their last building alive. Trophy popped.

Day of Judgment
Destroy 30 enemy units with an ultimate weapon attack in a ranked online match or skirmish

Probably the hardest one in my opinion. Thing is, Cryocopters are possible the only way to get units frozzen on the same place and then launch a superbomb. I will try to do it on my same infantry units just to see if it's possible or not. Gotta plan this one.

 

Good thing is: No Medium difficulty needed.

 

EDIT: Day of Judgment, Girl's Best Friend and The Spy Who bribed Me are possible on the same match following some strategy.

 

At the end, it was not that hard but definitely you need to keep some things in mind.

 

Your settings:
Faction: Allies
Map: Whatever 1Vs.1 but the first one will do the job.
Money: 40.000

Enemy settings:

Faction: Soviets
IA: Oleg
Difficulty: Easy

1. Choose whatever IA opponent and faction you want but keep in mind I did it against Oleg/Soviet cuz the guy is kinda stupid and go on and put its barracks in the middle of the base entrance. I did it against other IA and building places was different. Not sure about it but definitely sure for the Checkmate trophy (beating on Brutal difficulty a CPU on Skirmish 1vs.1). Keep that in mind.

 

2. As soon as match begins make 2 Barracks and start building dogs. When you have 13-15 send them to enemy camp. Also start to create some infantry units, 15 or so.

 

3. Save your game as soon as you send them to the enemy camp.

 

4. Stop creating soldiers for now and just choose all your dogs, press and hold R2 while selecting them, choose the shield and choose the reaction of your troops to be ATACK EVERYTHING (top one on the circle-round) now over there control your dogs and kill every soldier, but keep in mind now CPU will probably make some turrets and dogs can't attack buildings. Place your dogs in front of the barracks so every soldier coming out will literally live 1 second cuz your dogs will go after him and kill him immediately.

 

5. With infantry soldiers reaching to the enemy camp, destroy all turrets and Command Center. DO NOT DESTROY BARRACKS AND ORE REFINERIES. At least keep one enemy Ore Refinery and Barracks. CPU will do unlimited infantry and javalin-missiles soldiers, even if the ore refinery is empty, still some money will get to the enemy.

 

6. Doing this, save again your game and start to expanse. No need to buy VMC for $5000, just choose one of your ore refinery trucks and move them to at least other 2 positions and press R2 + SQUARE to use your ability and expanse. Create those Ore Refiniries wherever you want and can. You need a lot of money.

 

7. CPU is done, your dogs are there protecting and you retrieve your infantry soldiers in order to not attack Barracks or refineries. Now try to improve your weapons abilities (Deselecting units, Press and hold R2 and choose DOWN (on the circle-round) ) and also start building Hangar and everything necessary to create 30 cryocopters.

 

8. I personally did 2 hangars and create 30 cryocopters, now here comes the hardest part in my opinion because it's slow and it needs some patience and planification.

 

9. You got all your cryocopters ready, if you can't reach that number because you got dogs and soldiers, you have to kill them, before doing it keep in mind someone still gotta protect that one lonely barrack on the enemy camp. To kill your own units try to use some advance ability like the plane or something and kill them with that. By this point you should also create the Proton Collider because it needs 5 minutes to charge, and that's the weapon we're going to use for this trophy.

 

10. Select all your cryocopters, press and hold R2 and choose to NOT ATTACK (left side of the circle-round), place them 30ft away from the enemy barracks, don't put them just above the barrack, you need some space between cryocopters to quickly choose and move them one by one. So you gotta let them without attacking nearby enemy camp, barracks and soldiers, but soldiers are dying because of your dogs. Now everything is ready.

 

11. Before you continue, create 1 Spy and 1 Tanya (Commando) and leave them over there at 80ft from Barracks, nearby.. You will do 3 trophies at once.

 

12. Short brief: Your 30 cryocopters are NOT attacking anyone and are separated enough (15 on one side and 15 on another, for example) now remove your dogs away to 80ft from barracks and choose/select one Cryocopter of yours, Check the barrack and wait for a soldier to exit, and as soon as it goes out the barracks attack him with your cryocopter. This will result in your Cryocopter permanently attack and freeze that enemy. Now, about 20-45 seconds later another soldier will come out, this can be a Bear, a Missile guy or a Infantry soldier. Bears are going to freeze in 2-3seconds because they're harder to freeze, and missile guys are the problem because they will attack your cryocopters.

 

13. Keep repeating this until you get 30 frozen soldiers, now with all frozen soldiers on the same place you can save your game and you can do all three trophies at once. (save game every 5 soldiers freeze or something, in 2 different save data files, just for caution).

 

At the end, it should look like this:

 

 

Some soldiers/bears can move a little bit away from the Barracks because it's hard to select them while the screen is full of freezer rays and stuff.

 

14. The Spy That Bribe Me: Go with your Spy over there and be sure to use your ability R2 + SQUARE and get at least 5 soldiers. You will get the trophy without finishing the match.

 

15. Girls' Best Friend: With Tanya just double click on the ground and she will kill 2 guys per second and after all of them are death you will get the trophy without finishing the match.

 

16. Day of Judgment: Just use your Proton Collider on this zone and kill the hell outta them and you will get this trophy.

 

I really thought this was going to be a pain in the a$$ but finally after trying this method and selecting by one by I did it and I'm really happy about it.

Kill 25 enemy targets in 1 minute with a Commando in a ranked online match or skirmish

Another one really hard and I think cryo copters can do the job. Still gotta plan this one.

Good tactic explained on the trophy guide but still ongoing for me. Again, Easy difficulty so it's possible in my opinion.

For the Bloodsucker trophy, you do not need to use the same Hammer Tank. When I did the trophy, I used one tank for one different enemy unit, seven times.

That's great @Needles . As I said, that would be really hard if its the same one.

 

Definitely possible against CPU on skirmish!. We gotta have faith for others trophies to be honest. Don't hesitate to share your experience on this topic, please.

That's the same generic BS answer they give everyone who asks for servers to be reinstated - EA have no intention of listening to anyone when it comes to this game.

I mean, you're right for sure, it's an automatic text but "not quite" as it is signed TJ at the end and it seems a little bit personal directed to my tweet. In any case, here's the forum message I did and let's see if EA can contact us or tell us something.

EA in the past depending on the studio had listen to the community for asking questions or giving some advice and tips for next Battlefield games, since Battlefield 3 in advanced, I remember these messages in the past and devs actually responding to the community. Also, buying a Rock Band used copy and not having the code to export your songs to other Rock Band games, if you sent them picture of the game and receipt they would send you a code to exchange, paying $10 or so, i've been told, but never did. What I'm saying is: EA for long time listen the community more than we thought, but don't know right now because these things trend to change every 5-8 years or so.

 

I'm gonna edit now some of these trophies from the original topic due to the fact I did almost everything already  on Skirmish, being the harder one [Bloodsucker] but probably not impossible to do. It was a pain in the a$$ but it worth it. This will be a legendary platinum trophy when we finally get it. Straight to my cabinet.

I got Bloodsucker trophy! I can't believe it!

Everything explained on the first topic. What a ride man... I'm beyond happy right now!! Only a few more steps to get this beautiful, hard, absolutely insane platinum trophy.

EDIT: Just got EVERY Skirmish Multiplayer trophy in the game, It's confirmed all of them are possible to get now that servers are offline.

Definitely the hardest one was Bloodsucker. I almost started anew match cuz nothing was working. Thanks God it finally worked.

You're welcome. Keep it up and do it ASAP because if you lost experience playing it will be harder for sure.

I want to do all of them on Xbox 360 despite the fact I will never get 100%, but still good 910G or so.

No, the Plat is completely unobtainable due to server closure, because you can't do the co-op trophies offline .
