Would a Wii character base work on PS3?

This is mostly a hypothetical question, I'm not sure this game is on my wishlist but I'm curious about something.

 

I got this game on Wii forever ago, I remember my sister and I being super hyped at the time because it was being advertised on Disney Channel. Turns out the game was very underwhelming, and neither of us liked it that much. But I still have everything from the game, including the characters and the base. If I were to pick up a PS3 copy of the game, could I use my accessories from the Wii version to play the game?

While I never tried myself, I asked a Disney Interactive employee at Gamescom back when the game was released and they confirmed there is only one model of the base for all systems, unlike with Skylanders and Lego Dimensions. I think that's the closest to official we'll get.
