  1. 1. What is your overall score of the campaign ?

-Terrible story that makes very little sense as a sequel to MW2 with some characters returning and pretending to be happy families.

-Weird DMZ-esque missions.

-Objectives such as: hack 4 phones.

-Isn't really a spoiler but playing ad Price for most of the missions sort of removes that sense of "Oh fuck, it's going down" whenever you played as Price in a previous entry.

-Setting up for the sequel with a dreadful ending.

Overall campaign: 3/10.

Playable but dreadful.

IGN gave it a FOUR.

They must’ve killed the reviewers dog or something.

Hmm... I wonder what a few IGN COD reviews that weren’t 8/10’s were like:

• World at War: Final Fronts... a PS2 game in November 2008 4.5/10

• MW3… on the Wii 4.5/10

• Black Ops Declassified (on the Vita) 4/10

• Strike Team (wtf even is this?) 6/10

• Vanguard (Zombies) 5/10

Second mission in, this feels really uninspired. Sort of like a continuation of a game that has a seasonal model story, that feels more like an episode. Where you get a good bang of a campaign and then the seasonal campaign comes out and they are just trying to throw twists and turns that seem a little senseless. I'm going to hang in there and see what this becomes.

Complete rip-off. Nothing but an advertisement for warzone forcing multiplayer aspects and the literal multiplayer map into the main campaign with lazy missions that involved fetching items over and over then the games over.

It's times like these i wish Playstation had a reasonable refund policy because i feel completely ripped off by something that wouldn't even qualify for the term DLC. If the mostly functional and still quite fun Cyberpunk release can inspire an unprecedented refund option from Sony then so should this tacky piece of nothing. No wonder they do early access, the more digital copies sold the less returns.

Can't believe you're all shocked it's just a cash grab... Like they've not done it before 🤣

I don't think that  anyone js under any illusions that this is a business making money but they have not done this before.  We have never seen an audaciously blatant lack of effort like this.

Examples:

*Characters who died in the previous installments with no explanation of how they have been resurrected

*Characters who had diametrically opposed views are somehow on the same side, again with no explanation

*Churning out a direct sequel of a series in a years time

*Adding a game entirely as a DLC

Im not sure which is worse, admitting that they threw this together in a years time or saying that it took years of development to get "this". Neither of these is good for what is one of Activision's flaghship franchises after one of the biggest mergers in history when everyone is already calling into question how the merger will affect the quality.
