Not enough skill points?

Recommended Posts

Strange. I did a blind playthrough and by the end I aready had all skills learned with 8 extra points leftover. I did wear that trinket that boosts exp gained from enemies relatively early though. Good that you found a method to get those last crucial points.

For others prior to getting to the point of no return: Enemies do respawn on some areas of the map. There are also a lot of those exp caches hidden across the maps so keep a lookout for those. And don't forget the exp trinket I mentioned before.

Update: I was able to farm enemies on the final boss. The boss will spawn enemies if you keep him alive. Hopefully this helps some of you!

Man thanks a lot, will give this a shot tomorrow since im in the same boat requiring two skill points

Didn't need to farm thankfully, as on way to the last boss and starting the last boss gave me just enough

I believe you can replay the spirit rituals if you need to grind XP

Nope, the rituals only give xp on the first completion.

The best tip is to use the Prosperous Mind trinket (found on the down left challenge of The Wildwood), kill every enemy you see, get the blue xp thing whenever you see one (no need to long deviate for it tho) and maybe you'll have 3/4 points to spare at the end.

Do you need the purple orbs? IMO the PowerPyx roadmap doesn't make it clear enough that you need these and I kept skipping them thinking a future abilty may unlock them. Used lunar blast on one by accident and got a skill point. I had a look online and can't find a good guide, so that'll be annoying if I have to go through the map with a toothcomb for these....

Ahh, ok.  It seemed like you had the option to replay the spirit rituals, so I assumed you could also get some more XP from them too.  I used the Prosperous Mind trinket until the final area, and I had 6 or 7 extra points to spare by the end of the game.  If you kill every enemy you come across and go for 100% of the collectibles, you should have plenty to max upgrade

I collected all the ones I came across - if you've gotten all the collectibles (echoes, trinkets, etc) just look at spots on the map where it looks like something could be that doesn't have an echo or trial symbol.  Most likely there's an orb there

Ended up being 2 short like OP and using the same "don't damage the final boss so they can spawn infinite enemies" tactic. Stupid that enemies very rarely re-spawn.
