Traversal Glitch Discovered - EDIT: Not a Glitch

Hey all. I came across a glitch that could be useful to anyone playing if you need an alternate way to get past a puzzle. Here is a video of how it is done:

As far as I'm aware this is an intended mechanic. There's one room in the water area that I'm pretty sure requires it (I couldn't figure out another way, at least). I played most of the game with my middle finger on X and index on square in order to get the timing down more consistently!

Yes, this is an intended mechanic indeed. In fact, there are rooms where there's a "counter-mechanic" against this.

 

Also as @Xylobe noted, the water room is not possible without this. You will know why once you are in there.

The second bubble wand even makes this 'glitch' unnecessary as you can blow infinite bubbles at any time with it and use it to get pretty much anywhere there aren't things that block bubbles.
