Lil_Mermaid_Girl
The Vita rumor has come back as a fake. I haven't been keeping up with vita news much (which is obvious I suppose from my comment)
Artemisthemp
Actually it does... personally I'd like to thank MS for the epic FAIL of not including an HD-DVD player INSIDE their machine. That one lil blunder ended the format war in one simple stroke. Thankfully, you now don't need 2 movie players as HD-DVD is dead and there aren't exclusive movie rights for sale for different players. They could not even figure out, how to put HDMI and Optical Audio out + Wifi in the machine until 3-4 years later
PSXtreme_
They could not even figure out, how to put HDMI and Optical Audio out + Wifi in the machine until 3-4 years later If you step back and look, you see everything that Sony did wrong with the PS2, MS followed in their footsteps and did exactly the same thing. The original X-Box was an all-in-one machine, with almost no add-on upgrades needed. Sony originally copied that for the PS3 and the launch system had EVERY bell and whistle, no add-ons needed. The PS2 was a stripped down system where you had to buy everything extra (only 2 controller ports, no HDD, no modem, etc). MS did exactly the same thing for the 360 trying to cut cost on the launch system and make some of it back on the add-on sales. Then you have shoddy manufacturing in Mexico and system failures through multiple evolutions of the system (Pssst...heat BAD...cool, GOOD) up to and including the Elite, and you just don't win the race even with a year launch advance time.
