mahoganyman Posted November 21, 2014 Share Posted November 21, 2014 I started downloading the far cry 4 demo last night on my PS4, and for some reason the update file is taking an insane amount of time to download. I downloaded the game itself in about 10 minutes since it was only 2.5 gigabytes. It doesn't make sense how the update file is taking so long. It's been loading all night. It doesn't give me the progress on the update file, it only says "installing". My internet is about 25 mbps so it shouldn't take that long. Any thoughts? That's the confusion that I was having with a friend last night trying to get him to play the game - If I remember correctly when it was announced, I thought it was that you didn't have to download anything to play (it was streamed).
