Become a VIP and create your own criminal organization in the latest addition to Grand Theft Auto Online, Executives and Other Criminals. Featuring all new gameplay modes and opportunities for luxury living, Executives and Other Criminals also includes new customizable apartments, stilt houses in the Vinewood Hills and the ultimate in executive excess: the extravagant, fully staffed and upgradeable Super Yacht.

VIP’s who run their own operation gain access to new co-op Jobs, challenges and special abilities in Freemode, as well as having the power to hire and fire other players for their team of bodyguards. Meanwhile, Bodyguards earn a regular paycheck and their own special benefits including RP, GTA$, and stat boosts for working for a VIP’s organization.

Organizations can go head to head in Freemode, with new missions that make full use of the latest executive defense options including new armored vehicle variants, the devastating Turreted Limo and the missile defense systems of the Super Yacht, which also comes with its own suite of supporting vehicle upgrades including the new SuperVolito Carbon helicopter and personal watercraft.

Some existing Freemode Events will automatically adapt when played by organizations, allowing for new ways to take on King of The Castle, Moving Target and more. Also included is the new Extraction Adversary Mode, tasking teams of Bodyguards to search, locate and safely extract an Executive from their downed jet before a Hit Squad intercepts and eliminates the target.

Executives and Other Criminals also brings fresh choices in executive transport and protection with new weapons, new vehicles and much more. Check back to the Rockstar Newswire for full details and download the free update Dec 15 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

I played GTA Online for a bit when it launched, never got into it.

I grinded it for a few days for the trophies, still didn't get into it.

I sync'd my girl to PS4 and auto-popped the trophies, felt no reason to play it.

I gave it another 2 or 3 chances, still couldn't get into it.

Heists finally came out, they were cool but took forever to get a good crew together, so I never got into it.

I keep seeing all these videos showing the new shit they're adding to the online mode exclusively, still don't get into it.

To everyone who enjoys GTA Online, I am sincerely happy for you, and maybe even a little bit jealous since I can't get into it, however, I wish Rockstar would make with the god damned single player DLC they promised back in 2013! An update at least, or something, it's been 2 years since they really said anything on it. I get that GTA Online is going great for them and it must be making money but if you don't want to do the single player stuff anymore just come out and say it.

Again, if you enjoy GTA Online, power to you, that's awesome, and some of the shit in this update and the ones that preceded it do look pretty sweet.

I dont know if you heard but Rockstar have said that GTA VI is going to be even more online focused. Sounds like bad news for you. I also hope for single player dlc but if they dont put on ps3 its going to be annoying since they promised at release of ps3 version.

Doesn't surprise me.

Look, here's the reason I don't like GTA Online in particular. It's not just an online version of a game that is normally only single player, but it's the splitting of resources. GTA Online getting all the update and DLC attention, takes away potential single player stuff.

Which you don't care about in a game like Call of Duty, because Call of Duty is more online focused obviously, but since GTA is traditionally an offline single player experience, devoting more and more time to the online world while leaving the single players out in the cold is more of a bummer.

However, were GTA to go 100% online in the future, I'd be fine with it, as we wouldn't be left waiting for offline content, but as it currently stands, GTA Online is stopping Rockstar from delivering on single player promises they made years ago, literally, they said this stuff in 2013 and it's 2016 in a week.

A full on online GTA would be perfectly fine by me, a full on offline GTA would be even better, either way, I just hope they pick one, by doing both neither of them will be everything they could have been. GTA 5 single player could have had a lot more content in it like the online portion now does, and GTA Online could have had a way better campaign if it wasn't locked off to the single player mode.

In my ideal setup, we'd have GTA Online as it's own thing, getting new updates and missions and shit, free or not, I don't care, but that would be it's own thing, then every few years release a full blown single player offline expansion. That wouldn't work entirely though, since a lot of people would stick with the online one and I get that, so this is entirely unrealistic, but that's what I'd like anyway.

GTA as a series has too many good stories in it for them to just drop ship and go full multiplayer though, at least I hope. A lot of people go to GTA for the insane action, and to a degree so do I, but I mostly love the over the top stories I get to play my way through, and if they can keep pumping out good stories AND satisfy the online crowds in the future as well as they did with GTA V, then power to them I guess. Multiplayer and online only are the in thing and I guess I'm just a dinosaur wanting to play my games without an internet connection.

*snip*

I love playing online but the single player is definitely far more superior. Who wouldn't want more single player. The online does lose its magic after a while, but thats partly because i play on ps3. No more updates n shit.

I was actually thinking about that myself. The part about GTA Online being its own game. Sort of like Metal Gear Online? I think? Dont know much about MGO.
