ShadowStar83x
Ubisoft announced that Trackmania Turbo will have an open beta if you want to give it a spin before release. It will start at 9 AM Eastern on Friday and end at 9 AM Eastern on Monday. More importantly, your progress will transfer to the full game: http://www.gamespot.com/articles/trackmania-turbo-open-beta-announced-heres-how-to-/1100-6435723/ I wonder if this is a beta or a glorified demo. Either way, going to give it a try. Edited March 16, 2016 by ShadowStar83x
LetsTurnJu-On
Pretty much every open beta is just a glorified demo nowadays. They come out way to close to release to actually change anything. But still I'll be giving it a shot, kinda interested in this game. Fastandslow
Its a demo like the closed beta is since your save is in the full game
Caesar Clown
Ok! An open beta can serve as a demo, but the actual purpose is to stress out the servers and see how they hold up. There's no better way to do that than to give everyone a free taste of the game. So while you're not actually testing the game, you're testing their servers. Be it playing multiplayer or even something simple like logging into the game, they gotta test those servers.
