Have to verify after every trophy update

Kinda starting to annoy me, but I have to keep clicking I'm am not a robot even though I'm logged in after every profile update -_-. Didn't have this problem this morning..

Sounds like you're trying to update too often. The verification is to determine that the updating isn't being automated which, in theory, you could do even having logged in by writing a simple script. 

My guess is that this would be why you're having to verify each time.

I think it's something new. After seeing this thread I tried to update a random profile and I needed to do two captchas just to update the single profile. I tried updating a second one after that and I needed to do a single captcha for that one. I haven't updated any profiles at all since the site update went live and there was never a captcha box there when simply viewing the homepage. It used to just show the 6 most recently viewed profiles instead.

Oh, I see what you mean now. 

Work-around: Don't verify the first time. Just enter the username, click "update" and then do the Captcha the one time. Only have to do it once that way.

Seems to be an issue with the cache not expiring a key when it should.

There's two throttles, one per IP and a global one to stop a botnet from spamming. They kick in when there's a lot of requests to update so bots/scripts don't abuse it.
