How long is this game?

I thought about picking up Yakuza 0 at some point. First impressions are pretty bad but beyond that it looks pretty good.

First impression was bad, beyond those first impressions, it looks good. Makes sense to me.

If you do nothing but the main story, but read all the dialogue I'd say 15ish hours is a good estimate. But if you want to do it all, def above 100 hours.

The story itself is 20 hour-ish, but if you are aiming to platinum it will take 100+ hours.

it all depends how much you wanna indulge in the side stuff

If you only play story and do a little bit on the site to grind XP (=money) to unlock fighting abilites, it will be around 25h +/-.

If you wanna go full completion however ... well, that can take very long. I'm currently clocking in at 77 hours and I have 52% completion...

 

EDIT: I also recommend doing side stuff, at least the substories (sidequests with stories) since they are often hilarious, fun, interesting and one of the highlights of the game.
