After another viewing of the same tech demo from last year’s E3, Hashimoto offered the enigmatic announcement that a new Final Fantasy project is in the works, and that we can expect more news on the title this year. What does that mean for gamers? We’re only speculating, but a betting man would put money on the idea that Final Fantasy XV could be announced for PlayStation 4 at E3 2013. Will this newly announced project relate back to the tech demo that has now been shown at multiple conferences? We’re not sure, but it looks like an awful lot of research, costume design, world creation, and creature creation for something that is only a tech demo. And I wonder if by "new", that could still be FF15... but actually Versus 13 just with a new name I have a feeling it's going to be Versus 13, which may explain why we haven't heard any updates recently.
