Deluziion90
This game got my interest however, I've never played the previous games but can I jump into this one without playing the previous 2?
YemmytheFerret
Yes I found it quite easy to get into, it's a different story detached from the rest of the series with small nods to dishonored 2 Edited December 4, 2017 by Muskratateer

I would suggest playing Dishonored and Dishonored 2 before playing Death of the Outsider. You don't have to, but you won't really have much understanding of the world, the characters, their motivations or reasons for doing things, etc. Although it's a standalone DLC it basically follows-on to the story of Dishonored 2, which itself is a sequel to Dishonored and the story that initially started in that game. Given that you can regularly find the remastered version of Dishonored and also Dishonored 2 on sale for reasonable prices pretty often, you might want to consider starting there. They also have a digital bundle of all 3 titles that I've seen on sale at least once for a reasonable price, so maybe look at that as well?
BlueBerry_1337
It's an easy story to understand, but if you play Dishonored + DLCs and Dishonored 2 it'll be so much more than just a simple story and nice gameplay.
