Congrats on the Secret of Mana ( Adventure of Mana and well all things Mana ). I also noticed you are fast out of the gate for this month too so I anticipate a lead reduction on the next update. I must say even though statistics or maths in general bores me I do like looking at the projected final total. It really does swing alot. Probably unsurprising for any maths orientated people but hey big numbers / bright shiny things easily distracted for me right. So 11 plats for me, well if there was any question that I have moved from the need to plat to simply just play whatever you like and fuck that approach, take the earn and run then that number pretty much sums that up. I feel you may have misjudged me slightly though I do finish a great many things I start, just not many games ?. A commanding start to the month with a solid 16 plats sees MrUnknown finally emerge from a downward spiral from the previous 2 months. Currently carrying a 3 trophy lead thru May this could be the turning point as he begins his monumental climb. Only time will tell but with the gap now a mere 878 trophies it truly is anyones game. Thru 135 days of 2018 already (my goodness) very respectable plat numbers with Unknown moving close to #100 on 93 for the year, with Cj trailing behind a deluge of games in a variety of states posting a somewhat respectable 86 plats for the year. Of perhaps more worthy note is Unknowns impressive completion rate of 99.9%, definitely worth commending. Of course the lack of improvement in the rate is also noticeable. Cj on the other hand has laid down a significant increase gaining an almost 2.5% rise in completion this year. Truly a fine effort. Anyway in a month that has brought us a few early Spam Hunter Game of the year contenders - Inksplosion, Devious Dungeon and Survive !!! Mr.Cube, Hex Tunnel Touch, one must be excited to see what is still yet to come. In a sea of AAA nightmares it is good to know high quality Spam is still on the offering table. I knew we were both flying along but didn't realise just how fast. Gains in all areas for both and a great mix of spam-a-quality. I will hazard a guess that God of War rates highly from your list and I will shout out Blue Reflection which drew me in right from the first boob groping. On the spam side I am sure we can agree on honourable mentions for Inksplosion and Survive ................... MR Cube !. Highly commended to Conan Exiles (always a great sign when the best feature is the admin command ) and Pic a Pix Color ( deceptively long or so I am told ). Unfortunately as with all races there can only be one winner and with the deficit now pushing slightly ahead of the average Top 50 Australians total trophy count ( well almost ) Unknown must be contemplating what 6 months of a Cj chosen Avatar will look like. There is still time to avoid that shit show but well actually is there ? Anyway another month like this might see a narrowing of the scores especially as we sit on the verge of AAA race fest spew out anything on wheels, in the air or the in-between. All of these upcoming clones of previous years titles look a shade over the comfort zone of 4 hrs so we shall see. Still as long as the first 5 min intro scene is a massively overproduced pyrotechnical wank fest it's all good. A bronze for opening the settings menu wouldn't hurt either. So until the next update, June 16th may devs worldwide continue to abuse the depths of Sony's quality control (Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered looking at you), may your VN CG's run true, may the threads on this site continue to examine the levels of sheer dumb fuckery of trophy hunters ( personal favourite is the current $19 for a game with 20 trophies and no plat) and my octopi final attempt the PS3 classic Barbie Puppy Molester. In amongst all of this if you find the inclination to play Ni No Kuni 2 I would be fascinated in your opinion of your Kingmaker. Does it look like a Lisa Simpson clone drawn by the hands of a 5 year old on Ritalin, or I am just to drunk, or not drunk enough ? Yeah I have been playing some better stuff of late (and finishing them.....) any who, yeah a lot of stupidly quick plats coming out. Did I read this correctly? Your octopi are playing barbie for you? Not sure if that is sad or ingenious. I mean if you are going to train animals to play games what better than octopi. Not only are they supposed to be really smart but 8 arms a piece / 2 = 4 games at once or 8 Vns/telltales. AffectatiousDonk Posted July 1, 2018 Author Share Posted July 1, 2018 (edited) So Here Ends June (sounds like someone famous must have said that at some point ....... well someone more famous than me anyway right ) Another impressive 25 plat haul for June sees you, MrUnknown ( I am unsure what person I want to write in today, but hey its not white text yet ) move back to level with last year's pace. I am still creeping along, slightly above pace bagging a somewhat whatever 14 plats all off the back of VN. Nevertheless June looked like a fairly solid month of enjoyable games for both of us. I will throw out a final recommendation for Ni No Kuni 2, beautiful game if very easy. So onwards shall we press ( now that definitely must be a quote from someone important ) to July, no doubt a beautiful summer temperature over there, but a cold, grey and wet winter for us down under. Still no complaints coming into the next few weeks off, so nothing can dampen my spirits, I might even try a little Dark Souls remastered ?
