Sony created PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. At one point, was Ubisoft considering something similar?UI designer/artist Benoit Perreault, who was with Ubisoft from 2004 through March 2012, lists something rather interested on his portfolio: “Assassin’s Creed Duel”. Based on images provided by Perreault, the game would have been a 2.5D fighter featuring various Assassin’s Creed characters plus Ubisoft favorites such as Rayman and Jade from Beyond Good & Evil. The shots also indicate that Assassin’s Creed Duel would have been released on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade." Source The game was most likely canned and probably didn't even make it into proper development stages... thank god.
