Money cheat question

Hi all, wondering what the earliest time in the game is that i can go for the Mr Shakedown money cheat, and what/where i can find items that multiply my money from him etc. thanks.

Hey there. 

 

In my opinion you shouldn't really dedicate time just yet to farming because you will earn lots of money naturally so you'd be wasting time.  Not to mention the real estate Royale gives you loads as well 

 

But if you really want to , you have to save a few CP points and purchase Mr Shakedown deep pockets from the shrine using kiryu. Then do a sidequest then do the follow up sidequest which unlocks at about chapter 10 I think.  I won't spoil it because it was actually hilarious and pick the black box to get an encounter finder. 

 

This encounter finder will help you find mr shakedown. Basically you let him defeat you, then you defeat him to get your money back and more. 

 

Essentially the more money you were robbed of, the more money you'll get back which is why I said to wait until you have billions so you can make the farming more worthwhile.

Looks like the first mission is unlocked in chapter 2 and the follow up is unlocked in chapter 5 actually so you can start it now. So yea I was wrong about that sorry lol

On legend if you want to speed through then the exploit is pointless as I found out earlier. Legend isn't too hard though does have spike points, but money isn't something you need lots of.
