BDKSimba
The Last of Us [M+] Blood and Gore Intense Violence Sexual Themes Strong Language According to the ESRB, M+ is for 17 and up in the United States. This is ignorant. If a lawsuit comes into play, I doubt Naughty Dog/Sony would lose... the game is rated M. Why would you call the number in the first place!? Look at GTA IV for example; It has so many numbers and sexual innuendos but no one complains about that. If the parents purchase an M games for their children then they should expect things like this.. mistake or not. Only if da World revolved around common sense, then pointing these facts might make a difference. First of all, everyone crying about how someone with no life cried about these numbers is doing so based entirely on an assumption that someone actually cried about it. If you read the article, someone figured it out, sent the info to Kotaku who then confirmed it and asked Naughty Dog about it and ND then logically decided to fix it. Nobody complained! Second, of course they would remove it! Some of you obviously aren't business men because if you were you would understand not wanting to have your company and your product associated with that kind of thing. business is business. and a good point made. negative is negative no matter how U look @ it. and if it doesn't add to the in-game play in da sense that he calls it up to acquire some kind of help on a mission or such then taking it out r changing it won't be taking away from da game. it will just be de-associating it from said negative aspect. last thing ya need is an epic game be an epic fail due to something as mediocre and minuscule as a simple artist mistake that could have easily been corrected. cause really, We know little kids are playing it and that they will be calling it. Brawler
I can see why they're taking action as many people love to get up in arms over nothing. Sad thing is if this had been in something like Duke Nukem it would've just blown over as it is expected, but The Last of Us can't have that same luxury. Doubt they're saving much face with people who genuinely care, but it's still the right move. Funny little fact here, will definitely be something worth remembering.
