CraigyXO
Hi guys, I’m thinking about upgrading to a PS4 Pro and have a slight query. I’ve put a LOT of hours into Red Dead 2 and I’m half way through a lot of the grindy trophies such as exotics, animals studies, challenges etc. I have a Harddrive and plan to back up all of my save files but can this have any effect on trophies? Eg. If I got the last 20 or so animals I need on a different PS4 is there a chance it won’t register all the others I got on my old PS4? Sorry if similar has been asked. No, if the save is copied over it's fine. I play on two PS4s regularly, switching saves between them with absolutely no issue
CraigyXO
Thank you! That’s really helpful. I expected as much but wanted to make sure.
TheYuriG
Just make sure all trophies are synced properly before you switch, as not doing that could lead to some timestamp issues on this site, something you do not want.
seblegamer
@CraigyXO And don't forget that if you have PS+, you can just put your save on cloud and get it back on your new PS4 Pro without having to use an external HDD
