Vs PS3 BFG

How does this compare to the version that was released on PS3? I figure the graphics will look sharper but was anything else changed/added/removed? Does it have crap sound and wrong aspect ratio like Doom 1 & 2 for PS4?

I think it's just DOOM 3 BFG Edition without multiplayer trophies and the two first games.

^This. The trophy list is the same, excluding mp trophies. I doubt they'd change the requirements. That was just an easy cash grab.

Are you able to select a certain weapon or do you still need to cycle through the entire selection till you find the one you want?

You can press up on the d-pad to quick-select grenades and right on the d-pad to quick-select melee. That makes it a bit faster to scroll to your desired weapon. But otherwise, yes, you have to scroll through all of them. It hasn't been too bad, but the original Xbox port def handled it better by letting you map 4 weapons of your choosing to the d-pad.
