Popular Post Optinooby
Hey all, this is using ASSIST MODE and is likely to take a fresh player perhaps an hour longer due to familiarisation etc. Veterans could follow this route as well, this time could be beat by quite a bit if one was willing to practice and practice, but not me ASSIST MODE can still be quite fun though obviously it's not for everyone but it is a legitimate feature. Perhaps the trophy should have been disable with it, but it is what it is and here we are!! No commentary, but there is a bit of text to begin with and puzzle solutions appear on screen when needed. Enjoy yourself and good luck Edited March 27, 2020 by Optinooby
Bizzy_Montana_
Thank you very much for this video @Optinooby ! I'd like to point out that the trophy "Thanks for Playing" doesn't unlock by just playing all C-Sides. You'll have to beat all the normal story levels (and I guess the B-Sides, but you do that anyway) before or after as well. I completed all B- & C-Sides first in order to get the respective trophies and the golden strawberries which count for the total but didn't earn "Thanks for Playing". Then I completed all story levels and got "Thanks for Playing" together with "Heart of the Mountain" at the end of chapter 8. This "issue" has also been mentioned here -> https://www.trueachievements.com/a246732/thanks-for-playing-achievement but if one follows your video closely one shouldn't have any problems Greetings from Germany!

BeautifulTorment
A guide for Celeste using assist mode the entire way is a massive L from me, for a guy who generally never misses. As the best guide maker on the whole of the internet... this is a bad look. Genuinely love all your other content though Optinoob. Still a big fan.

I understand mate, probably shouldnt say but I have done a few vids like this, but got nothing to hide and u can easily find yourself I made a Control guide using Assist, got a text guide here on it. Done one on Axiom Verge 2 as well. I think my FF8 and Chrono Cross guides use cheats as well. RE2remake is another fine example, ive done a Unlockables DLC Platinum Guide for that, but ive also done a No Damage Platinum Guide without the DLC! I know it looks lame to some, honestly when I do these guides, I always go for the easiest/fastest way possible using features that the devs have implemented. Sometimes it involves an easy mode, sometimes not, but its probably because I have sort of no individual limitations, I always go for the easiest/fastest way no matter what it may look like, and then just let the viewer decide. Control for example, it popped up on Plus which is why i covered it at the time, but I would have still likely done the full platinum even if no assist mode, didnt make no difference to me. Though using assist mode did save me time of course. I could completely avoid doing assist mode ever in games, but I feel the thought behind the reasoning is needed for me to make the guides the way I do, if I strip that away, then it may even affect how i approach a game even without assist mode. I dont like to use glitches too much though, I do the odd time, but I try not to, I find glitches kinda worse than Assist Mode if im honest as a glitch is kinda hacking the game code in a sense. Generally though, glitches are acceptable to others more. I dont do these cheap platinum games, but anything else, I like to have a complete open mind, its just the way I look at things. I probably shouldnt admit though, sometimes when I covered a lot of complicated games in a row, a Assist Mode platinum guide, or even just an easy game Platinum Guide can be soothing for me Just hope you don't hold it against me too much, not the best guide maker, but appreciate that nonetheless Edited March 24, 2023 by Optinooby
