Popular Post xWinson
This part was so boring for me that I am writing how to save time on this. This can be a 3-4 hour long grind if you're not careful, you'll need at least 3000 points to buy two items that let you learn the batting battle skill and the heat action which you need for platinum. The best way to farm points is to do the Home Run competition which you unlock by doing the first 3 Home Run courses. Now to make the minigame super easy, you should know that the pitcher always throws it at the same place, so follow the guide here where someone has written the list of where it lands. Also buying the serene bat (200 points) will make it easier to get the timing right and I recommend also using it for the Home Run competition even if only gives 0.7 of the total points. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/218734-yakuza-kiwami-2/76948924 For the guide above, the OP gives up writing instructions when you reach the 9th set of the Home Run competition as it is random, this is a shame as if you stop there you'll only get 300ish points which means you need to do the Home Run competition 8-10 times - however hidden away on the last page is someone realising that the pitcher always throws the same sort of pitch. They only write the first expert set, so here is the rest I got up to (including first one): HR Competition 9 Soaring Eagle (up 1 square) American dream (spinning 2nd round hit, same square) Splitter (down 1 square) Curveball (down right) Freedom Fastball (click on launch) Slider (right 1 square) Shootball (left 1 square) Sinker (down left) Cutter (right slightly) Forkball (down 1 square) HR Competition 10 American dream (spinning 2nd round hit, same square) Splitter (down 1 square) Curveball (down right) Freedom Fastball (click on launch) Sinker (down left) Shootball (left 1 square) Slider (right 1 square) American dream (spinning 2nd round hit, same square) Forkball (down 1 square) American dream (spinning 2nd round hit, same square) HR Competition 11 Shootball (left 1 square) Straight (same square) Freedom Fastball (click on launch) Slider (right 1 square) American dream (spinning 2nd round hit, same square) Shootball (left 1 square) Straight (same square) Soaring Eagle (up 1 square) Shootball (left 1 square) American dream (spinning 2nd round hit, same square) HR Competition 12 Soaring Eagle (up 1 square) American dream (spinning 2nd round hit, same square) Splitter (down 1 square) Curveball (down right) Freedom Fastball (click on launch) Slider (right 1 square) Shootball (left 1 square) Sinker (down left) Slider (right 1 square) Splitter (down 1 square) HR Competition 13 (repeats 12) Soaring Eagle (up 1 square) American dream (spinning 2nd round hit, same square) Splitter (down 1 square) Curveball (down right) Freedom Fastball (click on launch) Slider (right 1 square) Shootball (left 1 square) Sinker (down left) Slider (right 1 square) Splitter (down 1 square) HR Competition 14 (repeats 10) American dream (spinning 2nd round hit, same square) Splitter (down 1 square) Curveball (down right) Freedom Fastball (click on launch) Sinker (down left) Shootball (left 1 square) Slider (right 1 square) American dream (spinning 2nd round hit, same square) Forkball (down 1 square) American dream (spinning 2nd round hit, same square) I gave up after this as I had enough points, but I assume the rest just repeats one of the other sets. I can't recall how much points I got by doing up to HR 14, but possibly 800+ points? One expert set is 100 points at least so this will save you a lot of time as 1-8 HR takes too long for so little points.

Popular Post Theladozz
Thanks for writing this, you saved me from probably hours of grinding! Just to expand a bit 15 repeats 11 16 repeats 12 17 repeats 12 18 repeats 10 19 repeats 11 20 repeats 12 21 repeats 12 22 repeats 10 23 repeats 11 24 repeats 12 25 repeats 12 26 repeats 10 27 repeats 11 so from the 10th stage this pattern is clearly repeating 10-11-12-12 I stopped at 27, I have gathered 3090 pts at that time. Edit: also don't be an idiot like me and take into consideration that if you use the serene bat, you will only get 70% of what your score is when you stop, so if you have 0 and need 3000, you should only stop when you have 4300 pts. Razzee-P
Bumping this thread to thank you guys for saving me a lot of time. I thought the grind was over when I finished the 75 boring Bouncer Missions, then found out about the prize books. I already didn't like this game from the start because I truly dislike the Dragon Engine, but the platinum made me hate it, despite being the easiest.

Ekir
Even after so many yakuza games, the grinding here sometimes feel quite demanding. Thanks for the help guys!
Popular Post Montyzu
Another good way to farm points is doing Challenge Course Expert 1, I got 2000 in like 15 minutes. You only need to get 7 score, it takes less than 1 minute per game, and gives 150 points (red bat). The sequence is: Up middle Bottom right American Dream Bottom middle Up right Bottom middle Up left (Eagle) Bottom right Up left Bottom right
Shikoku_Inari
I did it in 1 hour. Using Serena Bat + Challenge Course Advanced 1, 75 points each game. Slow method and must have patient.
Zz-Supremacy-zZ
I recommend just doing the Expert 1 Batting Challenge with the normal bat. It's 100 points per run. (which are each like 60seconds) You can get the 3000 points in around 45min. Edited October 9, 2021 by Zz-Supremacy-zZ

It was way much easier than K1 and zer0. Thanks god!

While the Dragon Engine was a bit rough in Kiwami 2 and 6, Judgment really made it a lot better.

If you have good timing and played this minigame a little bit, I'd recommend using red bat, which gives you 1.5x more points than the normal one. It's harder to hit the ball at the precise moment, but when I had to farm last 2k points I used this with no problem.
L0rdAceX
Even with this method, I couldn't do Set 8 and 9 of the home run competition consistently. You only start getting meaningful points after doing like....8 sets and that takes a lot of time. And even after those 8 sets, you need to keep hitting 8/10 home runs to keep getting points so I found doing the Expert 1 Challenge course over and over (with the normal bat) to be easier and faster.
