Conker
My week 1 recap Thursday night Broncos 49 Ravens 27 Well Peyton throws 7td's and 462yrds in dominating win, would like to see more of there running game as really didn't see who will be the main running back, whilst for Baltimore looked fair on offense whilst there d was poor and really missed the veteran leadership Sunday Early games Patriots 23 Bills 21 Patriots survive a really good game with late fg, Brady played good, vereen was impressive running the ball for 101yrds on 14 carry's , for the Bills E.J Manuel looked impressive and looks like maybe he there long term qb, Fred Jackson and spiller were good as usual running the ball but the d needs to make big stops for the Bills Bears 24 Bengals 21 For the Bears, Brandon Marshall was solid catching 1td and 104yrds and new included t.e Martellius Bennett was impressive catching 1td himself and making new head coach Marc Trestman a winner in his first game and Robbie Gould sets team record with 58yrd fg, for Bengals was tale of close but just not making the plays when need to and costly turnovers, A.j Green solid with 162yrs and 2tds Dolphins 23 Browns 10 Tanehill solid with 272yrds and 1td, need to show more running game, d solid forcing 3 turnovers, for the Browns just not enough help for Weeden the receivers dropping passes or not making the effort leading to 3ints, Trent Richardson looked average Vikings 24 Lions 34 Wow how good was Reggie Bush with 90yrds rushing and 101yrds and 1td recieving maybe this is the other weapon they need to go with Calvin Johnson who was reasonably quiet, for the Vikings Peterson after his first touch 78yrd td run was quiet, 4 turnovers was poor but Jerome Simpson was good receiver with 160yrds Raiders 17 Colts 21 Colts hold on in a somewhat surprising close game, thanks to luck's late rushing td , whilst for the Raiders, Terrelle Pryor was better than most people expected, with 217yrds and td and 112yrd rushing on the ground but needs to be able to not make mistakes as he did on weekend throwing int with 30seconds to go and close to end zone Saints 23 Falcons 17 In what was fantastic NFC South battle the Saints prevail thanks to late goal line stand that caused a pick of Matt Ryan on 4th down, Brees solid throwing for 357yrs and 2tds, for Falcons Ryan threw 304yrds 2tds whilst in first game Steven Jackson in Falcons debut rushed for 77yrds Buccaneers 17 Jets 18 Jets win in Geno's debut with he throwing for 256yrds 1td and rushing for 47yrds, new signing Kellen Winslow has 7 catches for 79yrds and 1td, for the Bucs stupid before play or after play penalties were costly with the game winning Nick Folk 48yrd field goal coming after play penalty Josh Freeman was 210yrds 1td, Vincent Jackson was solid with 7 catches for 154yrds Titans 16 Steelers 9 Steelers might be in trouble after loss with season ending injuries to Pouncey, Foote and Larod-Stevens Howling making the last injury weakening the running back position, offense for them was also inept with only 195 total yrds offense, for the Titans the new look Defense was terrific and dominant, C2k (Chris Johnson) with 25 carry's for 70yrds locker playing safe with only 20 passes attempted for 120yrds but no turnovers but funniest thing of game was safety titans gave to Steelers on the opening kickoff Seahawks 12 Panthers 7 Defense was big for both teams in this game, Russel Wilson was 25-320yrd 1td with the td coming in last quarter to give them lead and win, Marshawn Lynch had a quiet day, for the Panthers Cam was quiet with only 125yrds 1td, Steve Smith also was quiet even though catching the loan Panthers td Chiefs 28 Jaguars 2 The only thing positive to come out of this game for Jags was they scored first on blocked punt that became safety but over than that was bad day with Gabbert struggling and going off injure late, for Chiefs new qb Alex Smith was as what they got him for, Smith throwing for 177yrds 2tds, Jamal Charles with 77yrds and td on ground in win on Andy Reids Chiefs coaching debut after 14 seasons with Eagles Late Game recap Cardinals 24 Rams 27 Carson Palmer was brought in to be the qb the Cardinals needed and he showed them what he can do with 327yrds 2tds and Larry Fitzgerald was 8 catches 80yrds for 2tds, new running back Mendenhall was solid with 16 carry's for 60yrds in Bruce Arians coaching debut, for the Rams Sam Bradford was solid with 299yrds and 2tds both to Jared Cook who had 7 for 141 and 2tds and also Greg Zurlein kicking game winning 48yrd fg with 40seconds left Packers 28 49ers 34 what do Packers have to do to beat Kapernick, this time he beats them with his arms throwing 412yrs and 3tds with new added wr Anquain Boldin showing his worth 13 catches 208 1td and the ever reliable Gore with 12 for 44 and 1td, for Packers Rodgers did all he could with 333yrds 3tds but left try for win to late, new rb rookie Eddie Lacy was 14 41yrds and 1td Sunday Night Football recap Giants 31 Cowboys 36 My Cowboys finally beat Giants at are new home in 5th attempt Romo solid with 263 3tds, Demarco Murray had 86yrds on ground but thing we did not capitalize on fully was the giants 6 turnovers only, for the Giants the 6 turnovers was bad but not costly but forced Giants comeback to happen to late even-though they almost recovered on side kick to give the hope to win, Eli threw 4 tds but they need to have running back that don't fumble after David Wilson fumbled twice Monday Night Recap Eagles 33 Redskins 27 Eagles new up pace and fast tempo offense run by new coach Chip Kelly works in big upset win over Redskins with eagles dominating scoring 33 unanswered points, vick was 203yrds 2tds, Lesean McCoy was stunning with 31 carry's for a huge 184yrds and 1td and Desean Jackson was big with 104yrds and 1td, for Redskins RG3 looked rusty early with uncharacteristic ints and fumble and dropped pass leading to safety by Alfred Morris but credit RG3 for better second half but comeback was too late, RG3 was 329yrds 2ds with big game by Leonard Hankerson with 5 for 80 and 2tds Texans 31 Chargers 28 Well Chargers again on another prime-time tv night game totally show us how great they can play in first half and then they play sparingly in 2nd half to blow another 21 point lead and lose game, Rivers terrific with just 195yrds but 4tds, for Texans early int and poor first half does not phase them as they keep doing there game plan and come back to win with gaming winning 41yrd field goal by Randy Bullock, Schuab with 346yrds and 3tds, Foster and Tate solid running the ball and in first game back from acl Brian Cushing looks tired at times but comes up with terrific jump of route to get huge pick
 More sharing Brandon Weeden and Ray Rice leave injured Texans 30 Titans 24 Texans win game in OT with rookie DeAndre Hopkins catching the game winner after catching pass to set up first and goal after Matt Schaub rally's them back from 8 down with under 5 to go after throwing pick 6, for the Titans they played a solid game but defense just can't make that big stop to help them get the ball back Cardinals 25 Lions 21 Cardinals win Bruce Arians first ever coached home opener, with Rashad Mendanhall rushing in the game winning td with 1:59 to go, Palmer has 248yrds 1td, for the Lions Stafford has 278yrds 2tds with Calvin Johnson catching both with 6 116 2tds but with Reggie Bush leaving because of injury it was big loss after the impressive debut he had for the Lions last week Saints 16 Bucs 14 Saints win a low scoring tight affair with a 27yrd Garrett Hartley field goal as time expires after Rian Lindell missed field goal with 2mins to go in game that had a 1hr delay because of lightning, for Saints Jimmy Graham has 179yrds and 1td,for the Bucs Doug Martin rushes for 144yrds whilst Josh Freeman does very little only having 9-22 125yrds Sunday Late Games Raiders 19 Jags 9 Raiders get win 1 of the season even though Terrelle Pryor has quiet day with 126yrds throwing and 50yrds rushing whilst Darren McFadden shows us his stuff with 129yrds rushing, for the Jags the offense appears far to late with only a field goal in first half to be backed up by td with 2:53 to go, Chad Henne throws for reasonable 241 yrds 1td, Maurice Jones drew leaves with injury after only having 27yrds on 10 carriers and to make matters worse the Jags play Seahawks next week in Seattle Broncos 41 Giants 27 Peyton Manning throws for 307yrds 2tds, Knowshon Moreno with 93yrds and 2tds to show that Denver do have a running game, for the Giants it the same case as last week turnovers, Eli throws 4 more ints to know have 7 after 2 weeks, no running game still for the giants even with Brandon Jacobs return, the only thing good out of the game Victor Cruz with 118yrds on 8 catches Sunday Night Game Seahawks 29 49ers 3 In what was a fairly scrappy game from both teams throwing the ball, the best player was Marshawn Lynch who had 28carries 98yrds and 2tds, for the 49ers Boldin was kept much quieter than last week as Richard Sherman kept him in check, the only thing of note from game was they had a lightning delay for 1hr like the Saints v Bucs game Monday Night Game Bengals 20 Steelers 10 Steelers fall to 0-2 after the loss with Ben throwing only the 1td and the running game doing nothing to Joe Montana, Steve Young (Both all time greats), Jeff Garcia who is considerably better than Plummer and Tebow, Alex Smith who has turned into a decent starter, and Colin Kaepernick who has the potential to be very good for a very long time.
