m0nk3y_aust
Since i've been playing MyTea, my PS4's fan has become a jet engine. And it's ONLY MyTeam. Whether it's playing a Challenge, Tripe Threat, Locker Codes or using the Auction House. Even the fan is loud when i'm in the menu. It's like the fan is on 150% in MyTeam. Other modes, the PS4 is fine - MyCareer, Quick Play etc etc. Other games are fine, only MyTeam. My PS4 is standing, in a well ventilated area, and I just opened it up and did a PS4 fan clean yesterday as well. This is a disc version, not digital. I know 2K games always make the fan loud, but this time it's only one mode. Am I the only one? What else can I do ? Besides buy a new PS4 (which would be stupid at this time) First gen Ps4, not slim or Pro. Edited July 23, 2020 by m0nk3y_aust

pinkrobot_pb
Maybe it's mining bitcoins. I would not put it past them
Martain2
It's likely due to an uncapped frame rate in the menus, plenty of games get a bit noisy whilst playing but go into over drive in basic menus due to the developers leaving the menu frame rate uncapped and the PS4 is trying to generate thousands of frames rather than the 30/60 it should be doing. Sikutai
My PS 4 Pro sounds like a Jet Engine in the "Predator - Hunting Grounds" Menue, but it's quiet in the game. I think the Mining Bitcoins Theory is right. 12 minutes ago, pinkrobot_pb said: Maybe it's mining bitcoins.
