HitmanMaul
Certain grab moves result in my flying out of the half pipe as if I was holding Up to get out of it. It wasn't like this in the original nor the HD remake a few years ago. Maybe it's just a timing issue?
SaviorKIA
No. Maybe you start using trick +up or jumping to early. I'm playing classic way with arrows. Maybe you use stick and that is the problem?
Smash41
Are you holding R2? That transfers you out too!

HitmanMaul
I’m using the D-Pad as well. Anyone who plays a Tony Hawk with a joystick is a terrorist haha Not holding R2; I thought of that myself. It’s like 50 50 if I go out of whatever pipe whenever I use any grab move that uses the up button. Maybe it is just timing?

Ye looks like timing. if you hold UP while jumping it will throw you out of pipe. You need to work on muscle memory to start using D-Pad right after releasing X.
