Can I have the same user multiple times on one PS3?

On the PS3 you can have different users. Is it possible to have multiple different users who all use the same e-mail address?

I don’t think you can. However, if you use Gmail, you could use this trick. So you could have [email protected], [email protected]. That way you could have separate PS accounts with the same e-mail address.

Thanks for your answer but I am not sure if we are talking about the same thing.

 

When you turn on the PS3 you can choose between different users all the way on the left.

Each of those users has an e-mail address correlating to it.

 

The question is whether different users on the system can use the same PSN login.

No, can't be done. When you will try to create 2nd user with the same e-mail address as 1st, you will get the message that such user already exists.

As @Smashero said, each user much have an unique email address and password.
