Rumor: PS5 will have trophy progress tracking...

While this is great news...I hope it still comes to PS4. Sony said it was coming in a firmware update over a year ago. When it kept not coming, I knew it would end up being a PS5 feature.

I'm glad to see this. Some games already show you your progress towards trophies in-game, so it'll be nice to see this become standard rather than simply being an extra perk a few developers think to throw in. 

 

I tend to resort to tracking progress in a notebook or spreadsheet when going after trophies that require a lot of work but don't have an easy way of tracking them in-game. e.g. I have a massive spreadsheet for my progress in Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends - I only know I am 88% of the way toward the  Musou Collector trophy because I've been tracking it manually since June! So it'll be nice to not have to do that in future games.

Days Gone had in game Trophy tracking which was really useful, I thought then more games should do this.
