Hvalpen
So i did the following: Got over 1500 xp in a friend hosted game. Added a diamond in the lobby. Reset that diamond in game. Lose match. And kept doing that until level 1 with 0 xp Then i quit the lobby through xmb and rejoined multiplayer. And nothing happened. It should be noted that the lobby glitched out with the standard " could not connect to engine" error. Right after the level 1 reset game, so I never got back to the actual same lobby. why didn't it pop? And how do I fix it?
HaserPL
not 100% sure but you need to rejoin the lobby your friend hosted, not mp in general.

akdkiller
Try to enter to Ubisoft club or something like that (i dont remember the name) in the menu, and when the game restart it. Try to go online again and it should work. I did it that way and it worked
IDiivil
The only real explanation is that at some point the connection to the server was lost, and the negative XP modifier was applied before you hit level 1. So basically just do it again. Get levels, accumulate an XP penalty buffer and then reroll the diamonds to derank. The way this thing works is they implemented an XP cap in a weird way where the game keeps track fo XP you've accumulated that exceeds 1500 per match, but this penalty is not applied after each match but rather while logging into the multiplayer. The idea behind the exploit is to be at lvl1 with 0 XP while having a negative XP buffer waiting to be applied on your next login into the multiplayer, which then throws you into negative XP territory - resulting in hitting the max level instantly.
