Popular Post AJ_Radio
I decided to finally play this old classic from Housemarque, the first game to ever get a trophy list. Because there is no guide for this game on this website (surprisingly) I've been using PST.org's guides and found the co op trophy Brothers In Arms to be a bit tricky. First off it is part of the DLC so for anyone who just picked up the base game this won't be available. While people say this is easy, I found that for some reason you can't just do this on the first world in local split screen co op. The trophy won't unlock even if you've gotten the two ships (two controllers) together for three minutes or more. I did two playthroughs of the five worlds on Easy difficulty, while challenging at times wasn't too bad. However when I went to multiplayer and selected split screen co op I only found the first world was available while the other four were locked. Turns out you need to play Arcade mode in Single player on Normal difficulty, the fifth world (Segomo) has to be unlocked. Normal difficulty is significantly harder than Easy difficulty. Phases last for much longer, enemies are more brutal and relentless, the bosses at the end utilize a couple new moves and strategies that make defeating them a lot tougher. The third and fourth world on Normal difficulty are a noticeable ramp up in difficulty. I was dying and failing repeatedly on the fourth world on Normal difficulty due to having to be very precise to avoid all the asteroids and junk littering the world. Enemies are far more difficult to deal with on Normal than they are on Easy, but with enough attempts I barely managed to beat the fourth world. Thankfully you don't need to complete the fifth world to unlock it, as you just need to finish the fourth world. Once that was done I found getting the actual co op trophy pretty easy. At the start of the fifth world (Segomo) there will be asteroids flying around but they are easy to avoid as long as you move away from them occasionally using two controllers. I got my gold trophy in three minutes. I tried several times to unlock this trophy on the earlier worlds and I can confirm it does not work. You have to unlock the fifth world on Normal difficulty in order to do this trophy. There is practically nobody here on PSNP that said this at all and I played the first world several times trying to get this trophy because I thought you just had to have a second controller without prior preparation. So for anyone struggling to get this easy trophy hopefully I explained why. Edited April 13, 2021 by AJ_Radio

Bizzy_Montana_
Segomo can also be unlocked for split screen - coop by completing the previous planets in planet mode, I did it this way. Unfortunately, you aren't able to choose the easy difficulty which is why I think it was normal. Taranis has been pretty tough so I'm not aware of whether Arcade on normal or planet mode is the better approach.
servus99
I just did it today in Planet Mode. I did Planet 3 and 4 on my first try, I think it is easier than Arcade. Although I have to say the last time I played this was 6 years ago...
