What parts of the game absolutely require MP to Plat?

I know what the consensus about it is, but I've been meaning to play this game for a very long time. I'll have some free time these next few months, so I could chip away at it and make some progression towards the Plat. I know that you need to revive another player 30 times, so that obviously needs co-op, but apart from that Trophy... is there anything else that can only be done exclusively in multiplayer? Or is everything else doable solo, even if the grind is larger? Thanks!

The 30 revives is the only thing that another person is required for, playing alone will get you the first place trophy.  You do however need to be connected to the internet to play absolutely anything in this game.

The game is online only with no offline mode but only a small number of trophies require other people to obtain them.

Thanks, that's what I needed to know. I don't mind being online all the time. I am online all the time, in fact!

The thing is, you may want to give it a try for the first couple of hours but the online connection will instantaneously synchronize the first trophy you earn and if in the end you don't like the game, it ruins your profile if you care about your completion rate.

With the exception of 30 revives, can everything be done solo in this game (while connected to the internet) or is it recommended to grind out the trophies with a partner?  
 

A good example is Peace Walker.  There’s really only 3 (I think) trophies that are online required, but it’s highly recommended that you work with a team to clear the S ranks.  So technically it can be done solo but it would be way too hard otherwise.

While yes, the missions can be done solo, you’re going to find that the hard missions can be a bit much for a solo player to do.  Best just do those ones with other players.  And you’ll probably have to replay hard salvage missions multiple times just to get some of the recipes for the Collector trophy.

Hey, thanks!  Plat was incredibly time consuming but I’m very proud of this one!

 

For the hard co-op salvage missions, I’d recommend two other players to make it go as smoothly as possible.  Or one other person if the other player knows what they’re doing.

 

Easy can be soloed once you hit end game and for normal you can either go solo or one other person.  Depends how comfortable you are with the map, your equipment, and enemy spawns.
