So anyway, getting back to the OP, I will mention that, unlike other forums, where necro-ing an old thread will usually get you scorned by regulars, here, people tend not to notice its a years-old thread (at least for something like "Most embarrassing plat"), and the thread will get going again, at least for a while.

 

However, if you bring up something like a gamergate thread with some new outrage for/against, people might bitch about that.

I've had roughly 1700 posts removed for stuff like this. Stevie, you guys do an amazing job. Thanks for all your generosity and leniency when we're being knuckleheads.

Like the amount of times people ask for beginner help in demons souls (or any souls games) or other similar game questions. Just read the old posts.

 

Like just today someone asked a question about Cat Call and some how missed the 5 or 6 threads about it.

 

Most people are too lazy to bother going back a few years to read old posts someone made, so they generally make the same questions over and over.
