Examples: I have the physical PS4 JP disc of Archetype Arcadia and the HK disc of F.I.S.T. Forged In Shadow Torch, and they both include a free PS5 update. But since my account is EU I cannot claim or redeem this upgrade when I insert the PS4 disc into my PS5. Is it even possible? I tried changing the active store front, but that did nothing. Has anyone tried it or heard about this from any devs or Playstation outlets? Ideas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This^ You have to redeem them via the store in the relevant regions, which in your case are Japan and Asia so you need an account in those regions if you want the free upgrades.
