Then people say with custom/closed/open source servers they'd be able to provide video proof the trophies were earned legitimately, at least in the sense that they were actually playing the game. There's a very real possibility that could be faked as well. CRT would be reduced to a group of Twin Galaxies referees watching hundreds upon hundreds of hours of video to certify legitimacy which is insane. Regardless, no one has been told they're not allowed to play on these servers. You're more than welcome to play however you choose on whichever server you wish. Why wouldn't this person instead pop the trophies they wanted in 2 seconds with any timestamp that they wanted so PSNProfiles would never know they cheated? Popular Post Executioner0 Posted September 12, 2022 Popular Post Share Posted September 12, 2022 It seems completely backward to me to allow "Open Source" servers, that simply allows anyone with a compiler the ability to write as many cheats into the code as they want, then compile and run it to pop all the trophies they want. Having a "Closed Source" server where someone with coding knowledge from this site is allowed to review the source code (open to them, not the whole world) and having the server able to publish statistics such as a history of games played and scores by a particular PSN ID would allow trophy validity to be easily assured. For trophies that have minimal connection requirements (like overtake another player while in an online game, or rate the guns in Transformers), it's pretty ridiculous to ban anyone at all since the server (official, custom, open source or closed source) doesn't affect the trophy unlocking anyway. 6 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When you have 5 million games with 5 minute plats allowed on that leaderboard, who cares anymore? The king you are "protecting" is already a long rotted corpse. Your rarity leaderboards don't even work and neither does your search function. It's a nice looking website, but it doesn't respect the spirit of earning trophies in fun games.
