PS3 Disconnected from access point.

For about a month now the ps3 judt randomly disconnect from internet, about one every hour.

 

But tbh it happends on the PS5 aswell, any idea if port-forwarding would help this and what is the cause ? never having this issue since ps3 launch and my router hasn't been changed for 2 years.

Happens to me as well, both on PS3 and PS5. EU. Yesterday I couldn't sync trophies, online multiplayer didn't work in two entirely different games - all while the store and everything else was accessible.

For me it also happends on PS5, however its rare.

Check signal strength, see router web interface for connection monitor or contact ISP.

It only happens on PS3 for me, only on it wireless and by now it's weak i imagine, could use wired but i don't really need it for PS3 as there's not much online to go on that needs a solid connection.

 

Are you using wired or wireless? Would help to go wired if you can.

It happends on wired too, contacted ISP and they will monitor until Monday, otherwise i will port forward maybe it will help.
