Game just deleted all my auto-saves

Just turned the game on this morning and all the auto-saves are gone.  I have one manual save from chapter one.  I exited the game and of course the save game auto-sync kicked in and uploaded the save to the cloud, so even if I had a working save in the cloud from last night, it's gone now.  I was in the final chapter on max security.

Hmm, I just wondered if my progress was saved with Krafton, as I recall it having some sort of proprietry save state saving, but when I go to Krafton ID in the menu it returns an error.

 

I wonder if this has something to do with it.

I had the same problem once or twice. Couple auto-saves and manual saves were gone. It fixed itself when I restarted the game a couple times.

Thanks, yeah, after trying to connect to Krafton the game kept crashing on boot up, but eventually got back in, and my saves are back.

 

Does that mean the saves are somehow linked to Krafton online?

 

If that's the case, I might play the rest of the game offline, not just contagion.  I don't like the idea that problems with the Krafton server could make my saves disappear.

This bug has been around since launch but the devs never fixed it .

Seems like they need to delete from the game Krafton servers.
