Popular Post KidExtazy
So I completed my first playtrough yesterday with the Unmoored World ending. I managed to get "The Hero" trophy and It seems Im one of the first people to get the trophy according to the web so heres what I did in case someone finds It useful. I didnt manage to get "The Guardian" though. The Hero: So basically once you get to the Unmoored World everything is timed because of the red clouds slowly advancing. You have to defeat every boss found in the red beacons. They are a bit hard and time consuming because you can only hit specific weak points (glowing pink spots). Bring at least one warrior or thief pawn because they will get on top of the boss and hit the weak spots for you making the fight shorter. If you are a Magic Archer the fights are trivial because your arrows lock on the weakspots. (IF YOU DEFEATED TALOS THE GIANT IN A SHORT TIME OR BEFORE HE DIES IN THE CUTSCENE YOU CAN TAKE YOUR PAWN TO HIS BODY AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SKIP THE TWO BEACON BOSSES IN VOLCANIC ISLAND AND EXCAVATION SITE SAVING A LOT OF TIME) The Guardian: You only need to evacuate Vernworth, Bakbattahl and Elfs Arbor for the trophy to unlock. Confirmed by myself Once you do a couple of main quests in the Unmoored World you will get a quest with no markers that tells you to evacuate every main city (Vernworth, Bakbattahl, Volcanic Camp, Elfs Arbor and Excavation Site). I managed to evacuate every city except for the Elfs arbor and the Excavation. Elfs arbor and Excavation site are the first ones to fall to the red clouds if you arent fast enough so make sure to secure Elfs arbor first because Its required for the trophy unlike the Excavation. In my playthrough by the time I got to the Excavation there were no NPCs to talk to. I completely missed the Elfs arbor for most of my playthrough so when I got there to evacuate them the leader wouldnt leave until I finished a quest related to their sacred tree. (APPARENTLY IF YOU KEEP INITIATING DIALOGUE WITH THE ELF LEADER HE ENDS UP AGREEING TO LEAVE SO THE TREE QUEST IS OPTIONAL. MAKE SURE ONE OF YOUR PAWNS HAS THE ELVISH LANGUAGE SPECIALIZATION TO BE SURE). The quest doesnt give you any markers to follow so Its kinda hard to find every city leader. - Vernworth: You will find Sven in the 2nd floor of the Nobles castle (If you speak to him he might tell you to go find Captain Brant first. You can find him in the tavern where he is for most of the game). He will ask you to speak with his mother and with an oxcart driver. Grab his mother and take her to Sven to complete this part The Oxcart driver will be arguing with a guy that doesnt want to share his oxcarts. Just unsheathe your sword in front of him to scare him -Bakbattahl: A beastren girl will talk with you in the main road to the Palace. She tasks you with resolving a couple of fights in the city. Pretty easy to solve them - Elfs Arbor: Speak to the elf archer you help in the beginning of the game and he will take you to the leader. Either complete the sacred tree quests (best to do them before entering unmoored world because they are really long) or keep spamming his dialogue to make him accept the evacuation. -Volcanic Camp: A beastren wearing Bakbattahl knights armor is found to the left on the main entrance next to a couple of buildings. He wants you to escort an old couple to the camp. This one is really irritating because the walk back to the camp is full of enemies and the old guy is slow af. Grab him and spam the To me! command so pawns dont stay back fighting. The beastren guy will also task you with convincing a guy that doesnt want to leave the camp. When I talked to him I chose an option related to the old couple and this didnt convince the guy to evacuate with the others. Im not sure If choosing the other option makes him agree to the evacuation or if he stays behing whatever option you choose. I havent seen any youtube videos about this yet so hopefully you guys find this helpful! EDIT: Also It seems that defeating the bosses at the beacons slow the red clouds so do that as soon as you can. Before triggering the endgame you should place teleporting rocks in Bakbattahl, Elfs Arbor, Volcanic camp and the excavation so you can get there fast. I didnt so I lost a lot of time getting there EDIT 2: Keep in mind that once you get to the Unmoored world you wont able to restore your health at campsites. If you didnt place enough teleporting rocks you will have to walk to the beacons and the roads are full of tough enemies and minibosses that will weaken you a lot. Try avoiding them as much as you can or you will get to most beacons with half your health. Also carry lots of wakestones because the beacon bosses can instakill you with the Brim debuff. Their arenas will be surrounded by It too so you wont be able to leave until you have defeated them. Stamina heals are also really helpful because you can spam them while you are on top of the bosses hitting the weak points. EDIT 3: The beacon bosses will drop a lot of wyrm crystals. If you speak to the Dragon cultist near Bakbattahl he will sell you the best gear in the game. Buying from him the Dragons Dogma sword gives you another trophy. I spoke to a guy with a bow that was standing in the path between the inn and the weapons seller. He will take you to the Elfs leader and he will tell you that he wont leave until their sacred tree is healed. Go to the base of the tree and a girl there will give you a quest to heal the tree. I think this quest can be done before getting to the unmoored world so do It before triggering the endgame and you should be fine.
Blitz
Wow, I really like timed events like that, especially when you cannot even save your game and restart if you make a mess and miss trophy. Thanks for the heads up. Or maybe, you can rest at the inn before and if you mess up reload that save. Since you have option if you die to load from autosave or last rest at the inn. Need to try that

Need to try that Unfortunately, once you get to this part of the game, the option to reload your last inn save is disabled man. It wont show up in the main menu either. You will only be able to reload last saves.

Bigaussiecheese
Does backing up your save onto the cloud work for this game?

Ennlocke
I'm blocked out of The Guardian trophy, one of the NPC named Mallena for the Civil Unrest quest is nowhere to be found and I need her to actually make progress. I think you can reset the Unmoored World so I'll try that to see if it fixes anything. Edit : Letting yourself get killed and reseting the unmoored world fixed the issue for me, I went to Bathal straight away and did everything there (get your pawn and the quest from the seafloor shrine). Mr_Marty84
If you die in the unmoored world you start from the beginning of that world right? But I can just save whenever I want and make a backup to the cloud? So if I die I can just download the save from the cloud?
