Popular Post baboon_overlord
Major Update: This is now a 100% Guide that allows you to get every trophy in the game in the Tutorial World on PS3 and Vita!! Hi everyone, I decided to see how easy and quick it was to build a Trophy World and/or get all the trophies (except the dedicated multiplayer ones of course) in the Tutorial World. I am delighted to say that building a Trophy World is super easy and relatively quick if you use this guide. Not only was I massively enjoying the game, I keep seeing people setting up boosting sessions on here looking for someone with a Trophy World to help them. So I thought I would do the next best thing and write up everything I have learned so people can have fun building their own! I can understand the issues: most of the information on the web and on YouTube is massively outdated or applies to other versions of the game. Finding stuff that applies to the last patch for the Legacy Editions is very difficult. This is going to be ridiculously detailed. It took a huge amount of research and time to find everything, but I have it all done now. I was going to test it on an alt on PS3 but then decided to look into the Vita version. I played it on PSTV and everything works perfectly - apart from some very minor differences, everything is identical, including the controls using a DS3/4. Roadmap: Step 1: If you want to play the game and work out how to get everything done in the Tutorial World by yourself, then just bear the following in mind. Read this step and then stop reading, or else I'll give you very detailed instructions how to do everything yourself, so consider this as a Spoiler Alert. If you want to build your own Trophy World or just get the trophies yourself as quickly as possible, then keep reading. Whilst you CAN get all the trophies on one continuous save file, I would recommend you do NOT do that for the following reasons: I recommend you play on Peaceful and only switch the game to Easy or harder for specific monster related trophies. Easy is very annoying - Villagers can die and Creepers can wreck all your hard work Once you set the game to Peaceful, Evokers, Elder Guardians and guaranteed spawn points for Witches and a Zombie Villager will permanently remove these enemies from the game This will prevent you from earning the following trophies: "Feeling ill", "The Deep End" and "Dry Spell". It will make Taste of Your Own Medicine more time consuming because you will need to find a Witch in the wild. The Zombie Villager isn't really an issue as I have an even easier solution for that, but that requires using a seed I discovered. As this is the Spoiler Free section, all I will say is that yes, you can get Zombie Doctor using a couple of methods depending on whether you play on Easy or not. So I highly recommend you create a dedicated save file for these specific enemy trophies. I did this last night so I could help a friend out with those trophies in the near future and it took me about two and a half hours - the biggest timesink there being building a Conduit near the Ocean Monument for the Elder Guardian. You can definitely do it faster than that if you just want the trophies for yourself. Building the Conduit is helpful but probably not necessary. You can do this step first or last or even in-between, it doesn't matter. Just remember to rename your save files - if you have one named "Tutorial", creating a new save in the Tutorial World will wipe your existing one. In the Load menu, press Triangle and then Rename Save. Also, I would highly advise backing up your saves regularly, just in case. OK, stop reading now if you don't want Spoilers as things are going to get detailed! Step 2: We are now going to get every other singleplayer trophy in the game. I've marked the fully completed map of the Tutorial World below to show you where some of the most important locations are. I have found videos that show you places like the End Portal location, so those will be included under the relevant trophy solutions. I will also provide exact coordinates for finding things where necessary. If you really want to make your life as easy as possible - when building a Trophy World or just knocking everything out as fast as possible, then I found this duplication glitch which works perfectly on both the PS3 and PSTV. I just tested it now and it works on Vita as well. Thanks to kathacro for the amazing video. I tried looking for something like this but was getting older or different versions of the game. This magically appeared in my YouTube feed when I wasn't looking for it! From here on in I am going to be referring to the starting area, all the Tutorial areas and the Conduit Tutorial area as the "Tutorial Fortress", because that's literally what it is I guess. Get to know your way around, everything is sign posted and it will help you do everything as fast as possible. Just so you have an idea of where my preferred base area is, here's a picture: So your first order of business when you start a new Tutorial World is to construct an Iron Pickaxe and then go and get a load of Iron, Gold, Diamond and Emerald blocks. 1) Go to the Farming Tutorial area, there is an absolute ton of Oak Wood used decoratively here, make some sticks. 2) Go to the Beacon Tutorial area and grab the five iron ingots. Make an Iron Pickaxe. There's a Crafting Table by the Conduit Tutorial you can steal and bring it back to base. Mine all the Iron and Gold blocks. 3) Refer to the image above - that giant Diamond Pickaxe is made of Diamond blocks! Build some stairs up and grab a load of Diamonds. Stick everything except your Iron Pickaxe in a chest. 4) This one is a bit trickier. Go to the Minecart Tutorial and ride a Minecart until you get to the aqueduct overlooking the Conduit Tutorial area. Get off when you see the Emerald sculpture to your right as you can see in the image below: Carefully mine down so you are standing on the sculpture and mine as many Emerald blocks as you can. If you are careful you can jump and safely land in the water, but it really doesn't matter if you die. If you do just go and collect everything. 5) Congratulations! You now have basically infinite resources to complete the game with! Go make Diamond Armor, Diamond Tools and Swords, grow carrots and make them into Golden Carrots and get cracking. Some notes before we start: On PS3, the trophies in the main game can take ten seconds or more to pop; the Mini Game (multiplayer) trophies pop as you would expect. On PSTV, all trophies popped instantly Finding things in the crafting menus can be very frustrating. Reading the Wiki or looking up videos is generally a waste of time, so I will be explaining building things in the menus that I had problems with ALL the Mini Game multiplayer trophies HAVE to be done in public matches or they won't pop ALL the trophies are obtainable The below list is in rarity order on PSN Profiles, just use Ctrl+F to find the trophy you want I am going to give credit to people who gave solutions in random places that I had to do some serious digging to find I am going to use two terms: "Glitchy" means that the game itself is annoying; "Glitched" means that the previous methods for obtaining the trophies no longer work, or that the trophies don't unlock due to various factors and you need to use a workaround ====================== MAIN GAME TROPHIES Sniper Duel Kill a skeleton with an arrow from more than 50 meters. - Glitchy: This one is very annoying. At (I would estimate) 52 meters, skeletons can despawn completely from the game. I did this in my friend's world on PS3. On PSTV I was having problems, tried a few strategies and was having the same issues. I was around the area marked on the map in Step 2 above that says "Clay", as there are tons of skeletons in that area, as well as two Skeleton Mob Heads (see "Camouflage" for more information and coordinates). However, as soon as I tried moving to the coordinates: X:243 Y:74 Z:359 I got it first time. It's on a roof that you will have to climb up on top of. The image below shows the location and the direction I was firing in when I got it. The End. Kill the Enderdragon. - Glitchy: I'm marking this as Glitchy because the description is wrong: This trophy pops when you jump in the Portal back to the Overworld, not when you kill the Dragon, so the Dragon can stay dead if you invite other players into your world and get it. Since I want this guide to be complete, the Dragon is super easy to kill and can even be fought on Peaceful if you like. On top of several Obsidian towers are End Crystals that heal the Dragon. You have to destroy them all so you can actually start hurting him. Two towers need to be climbed by placing blocks and the Crystals smashed by a Pickaxe, the rest can be shot with arrows. The only way realistically that he will kill you is if you shoot all the End Crystals first. This will make him very aggressive and he will start destroying the blocks you are climbing for the other two towers and you will fall to your death. So bring a load of blocks with you. The towers you need to climb are the tallest ones and have iron cages around the crystals. Face the crystal, turn around and build a two block high wall behind you - if you don't the End Crystals will explode and knock you off the edge of the tower to your death. After you have done this, run around shooting the other End Crystals with a bow and arrow. If you are a decent shot you should get all or most of them first try. Wait for the Dragon to land and shoot him with your bow or smack him with your Diamond Sword. Rinse and repeat until he's toast. Collect the green and yellow orbs for XP and jump back into the Portal the Dragon was standing on when you were fighting him. Just so you know, you can save your game in The End. On A Rail Travel by minecart to a point at least 500m in a single direction from where you started. - On PS3 I got this in a friend's Trophy World so everything was pre-built. Building it out in the Tutorial World is a pain, since this is Update Aquatic and there's water everywhere. I tested a bunch of candidate locations but the best one I found was on the map I posted above. Coordinates: Start of Railway: X:-236 Y:69 Z: 361 End of Railway: X:-235 Y:64 Z: -163 I accidentally built a slight curve into mine and couldn't be bothered to fix it. I tested it and got the trophy anyway. I didn't use any powered rail and just held my thumb down on the left analogue stick to push the cart forward. I made all the rail - just standard rail using six iron ingots and a stick. I built a long tunnel through the Terracotta section, then as soon as I got to Sand I started building overland. There are sections over water, which is annoying, you have to swim backwards while placing blocks on the previous ones, but these were short and it didn't take very long. I highly doubt there's anywhere else on the map where you could do this so easily. The End? Enter an End Portal. - Massively Glitched! OK, so don't panic!. The glitch is that Eyes of Ender don't work properly on the Tutorial World. They take you to a cave that only has Bedrock underneath it. The real Stronghold/Portal location is actually immediately on the left as you swim out of the Tutorial Fortress, in front of the giant Prismarine Creeper statue. If I hadn't found this video, which probably took me an hour to locate, I would not have been able to find the Portal. I tried searching YouTube for every conceivable term I could think of. It was only when I read that PS4 version 1.76 is equivalent to PS3 version 1.84 that I finally found what I was looking for. Massive thanks to iamarghus for posting this. Now, in that video they are digging straight down to save time. But for you and me, this is a very bad idea! You want to build a nice spiral staircase so you can easily get in and out. So dig the marked block, then dig out the one on the right (facing the statue), then the one in front of that and finally the one to the left. There's no Bedrock here so you can dig all the way down with no issues. Bring a load of torches so you can see what you are doing. There's tons in this area that you will never need so just go and grab those. I tested this three times - twice on PS3 and once on Vita (on PSTV) and I came out in slightly different locations every single time. I never came out at the staircase like in the video but I was always close. However, the coordinates of the End Portal are always the same - X:19 Y:12 Z:30 - as shown at the end of the video. You might need to dig through a wall but you will get to the Portal, I guarantee it. To activate the Portal you need 12 Eyes of Ender. In the tiny Village at the start of the Tutorial (after the Farming Tutorial), there's the Trading Tutorial. In the second building to your right as you head South is a Librarian, who sells Enchanted Books, and a Cleric. The Cleric sells Ender Pearls for four Emeralds. There's loads of Blaze Powder scattered around the Tutorial World but it can easily be farmed in the Nether if you look up my solution for the "Into Fire" trophy. Eyes of Ender can be made at a Crafting Table using one Ender Pearl and one Blaze Powder. For some reason, Blaze Powder is classed as a food and can be found eighth on the right in the Food crafting menu. Eyes of Ender are a Tool and can be found at the far right of the menu where the Clock is. I would make a save before placing the Eyes of Ender - sometimes the game will throw them instead of placing them! Once placed, jump into the Portal and the trophy will pop when you emerge in The End. The Nether and The End seem to be identical across playthroughs in the Tutorial World. As soon as you spawn in The End, turn to your left and start digging out, you should find the exit almost immediately. When are outside, turn right and make stairs up, the Dragon will be right in front of you. When Pigs Fly Use a saddle to ride a pig, then have the pig get hurt from fall damage while riding it. - You can easily get this in the Tutorial Fortress. From the opening area, head up the stairs, past the giant Minecraft sign and towards the tiny Village. To your left and right are staircases that take you to every animal needed for trophies. Grab the saddle, grab a carrot, get the fishing rod from a chest near the Conduit Tutorial. Make a "Carrot on a Stick" which is the sixth item along in the Tools menu where the Fishing Rod is. Tame the pig, put the saddle on and equip the Carrot on a Stick. Ride the pig off the cliff towards the Conduit area. Dispense With This Construct a Dispenser. - Dispensers are Mechanisms and can be found in the eighth row to the right in the Mechanism menu. Return to Sender Destroy a Ghast with a fireball. - This trophy is annoying as the Ghasts move around a lot. Just keep spamming R2 and eventually you will kill one with their own fireball. If you look up my solution for the "Into Fire" trophy, the Nether is always the same, as is The End on the Tutorial World. I tested placing the Portal in a few locations but you will come out in a place where Ghasts are a guaranteed spawn and are pretty easy to kill. The Lie Bake a cake using wheat, sugar, milk and eggs! - This can be done in the Tutorial Fortress. Everything is easy to get but the biggest issue is three milk Buckets. There's a lava Bucket that you can empty by the forge, a water Bucket you can empty by the potion tutorial and more than enough Iron Ingots to make another Bu00cket by the Beacon tutorial. Using the infinite dupe trick you can make as many buckets are you like. Sugar Canes grow in the Farming Tutorial area. Make them into Sugar by going into a Crafting Table and selecting Food - it's the second one on the far right. Visit the chickens/ducks in the animal area for eggs. Wheat grows in the Farming Tutorial and doesn't need anything done to it. The Cake itself is next to the Sugar in the Food menu. Into Fire Relieve a Blaze of its rod. If you look up my solution for the "Into Fire" trophy, the Nether is always the same, as is The End on the Tutorial World. I tested placing the Portal in a few locations but you will come out in a place where a Nether Fortress is. Blaze are a guaranteed spawn and are extremely easy to kill. Once you are in the Fortress, you can save, exit, change the game from Peaceful to Easy and they will spawn in. Leader Of The Pack Befriend five wolves. - Easily done in the Tutorial Fortress. From the opening area, head up the stairs, past the giant Minecraft sign and towards the tiny Village. To your left and right are staircases that take you to every animal needed for trophies. Once you have the bones from the chests in these areas, save your game. Tame two wolves, quit the game without saving, reload, tame two wolves and quit without saving again. Load the game again and the trophy will pop when you tame the fifth wolf. Enchanter Construct an Enchantment Table. - Unlike some of the other things you need to craft, this one is easy to find. Fifth row along to the right in the Structures menu. To easily obtain Obsidian, look up the solution to the "Into The Nether" trophy. You have infinite Diamonds using the dupe. For Books, go to the Enchanted Book Tutorial. It's past the Potion Tutorial in a small house. There are tons and tons of Bookcases here. Mine as many as you want and then steal the Enchantment Table by mining it. Take it back to base. Save your game, make an Enchantment Table for the trophy and reload your save to prevent wasting the Obsidian. Local Brewery Brew a potion. - Can easily be done in the potion tutorial in the Tutorial Fortress. The Potion Tutorial forces you to make a Fire Resistance Potion which you can then use to obtain the "Stayin' Frosty" trophy. Into The Nether Construct a Nether Portal. Glitchy: I did this in my friend's world on PS3 and it popped with no problems. However, I 100% used a Flint and Steel. On Vita, I didn't have any Flint and couldn't be bothered to look for any. The Fletcher in the larger Village (see map, above) sells it but he wants Emeralds + Gravel for it, which is very hard to find. So I made a Fire Charge, built my Portal, lit it and went into the Nether. No trophy. Tried reloading a few times. Nada. So I am marking this as Glitchy because it will only pop if you use a Flint and Steel to light the Portal and therefore the trophy description is wrong. OK, now onto the solution. I was scavenging Obsidian - there's quite a few blocks scattered across the Tutorial Fortress and some in the wilds. I was two short. I somehow died and respawned at the very start where you do the opening tutorial. As I walked forward towards my base, something caught me eye. Since I had my eyes tuned for Obsidian, I could swear that there was some right above me! So I climbed up there and low and behold there is a completed Nether Portal! The devs cheekily hid it in plain sight! Even more hilariously, there's another Portal on the other tower facing the giant Minecraft sign, so there is a ton of Obsidian to play with. Now, I tried using the ones that are already in-situ on PS3 on my own Trophy World I started building and the location is completely useless because you start in a place where you will have to dig a long way down before you get to where you need to be. There is another fully built and operating Portal in the far Southeastern corner of the map (where the Skeleton Mob Heads are) but this spawns you by a lava lake and is completely useless. If you look at the photo of my base in the Roadmap, you can see I built the Portal just before the Farming Tutorial section on the left as you come from the spawn point. The coordinates are X:8 Y:86 Z: -251 Grab your Obsidian (you need a Diamond Pickaxe) and go and construct a Portal, you can make two variants but either will do (you can also make it larger apparently but let's keep things simple). Check out the Wiki here: https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Nether_portal#Creation Now we need a Flint and Steel. You need an Iron Ingot and some Flint. Grab some Emeralds and head towards the larger Village as indicated on the map I posted. Very near to this area is a pink piece of coral you can stand on. This is mounted on a square structure which, fortuitously, has Gravel. The coordinates are X: -205 Y:63 Z:9 I have no idea how I managed to find this, I guess I just got lucky. Grab as much Gravel as you can and buy some Flints. Make a Flint and Steel at a Crafting Table (Tools menu, fifth on the right where the Shears are). The Flint and Steel can be used more than once so don't worry about using it. Light the Portal and stand in it for a few seconds. It will take you to The Nether and the trophy will pop. Now, I'm not done yet because there's a bit more to do here. I tested this on PS3 and Vita and I probably built my stairs down slightly differently, or there are some minor differences. Here's what my setup looks like on PSTV when you spawn through the Portal into the Nether: As soon as you spawn, turn to your right and start digging stairs down. Make sure you bring torches and steal some banners from the Banner Tutorial because it's very easy to get lost here. You want to be able to easily find your way back to the Portal. Keep digging down until you either come out in a massive cavern with Ghasts in (which is what happened to me on PS3) or you hit the wall of the Nether Stronghold (which happened on Vita). Either way, this is all the same location. you might just arrive at different places. I knew where I was in the Vita version because I recognized the few landmarks that exist, so it's definitely the same location. The only things you have to do here are kill a Ghast with its own fireball and kill a Blaze and pick up its Rod. You can farm Blaze Rods by saving the game, setting it to Easy from Peaceful and they spawn in. Delicious Fish Catch and cook a fish! - Can easily be obtained in the Tutorial Fortress near the Conduit tutorial. There's a fishing rod and a furnace in this area as well. Bake Bread Turn wheat into bread. - Can easily be obtained in the Farming Tutorial area. Just farm some Wheat and use a Crafting Table, Bread is under the Food menu, last one on the right. DIAMONDS! Acquire diamonds with your iron tools. Glitchy: The trophy doesn't work as expected- mining Diamonds with iron tools does nothing. On PS3 I just had my alt throw a diamond at me. This can easily be obtained in the Tutorial Fortress using two controllers - see the Roadmap of how to easily get Diamonds. On the Vita version, I was finishing powering up a Beacon and accidentally still had the Diamonds selected when I exited the Beacon menu. I threw Diamonds at myself off the Beacon and the trophy popped! Time to Farm! Use planks and sticks to make a hoe. - Can easily be obtained in the Tutorial Fortress. MOAR Tools Construct one type of each tool (one pickaxe, one spade, one axe and one hoe). - Can easily be obtained in the Tutorial Fortress. Acquire Hardware Smelt an iron ingot. - From the starting point, turn left past the Potion Tutorial and keep going until you reach the Hopper Tutorial (it's before the Trident Tutorial). On the right is a Furnace that has eight Iron Ore in it. To the left of this is a chest with Coal. Stick the Coal in the Furnace and wait for the trophy to pop. Time to Strike! Use planks and sticks to make a sword. - Can easily be obtained in the Tutorial Fortress. Getting an Upgrade Construct a better pickaxe. - Can easily be obtained in the Tutorial Fortress. Hot Topic Construct a furnace out of eight cobblestone blocks. - Can easily be obtained in the Tutorial Fortress. Cow Tipper Harvest some leather. - You can easily get this in the Tutorial Fortress. From the opening area, head up the stairs, past the giant Minecraft sign and towards the tiny Village. To your left and right are staircases that take you to every animal needed for trophies. I highly recommend saving, killing the cow and then reloading your save as you want the cows for other things. Monster Hunter Attack and destroy a monster. - Can easily be obtained in the Tutorial Fortress. Make sure you are playing on at least Easy, monsters won't spawn in Peaceful Mode. Time to Mine! Use planks and sticks to make a pickaxe. - Can easily be obtained in the Tutorial Fortress. Benchmarking Craft a workbench with four blocks of wooden planks. - Can easily be obtained in the Tutorial Fortress. Getting Wood Punch a tree until the block of wood pops out. - Can easily be obtained in the Tutorial Fortress. Taking Inventory Open your inventory. You know how to press the Triangle button, right? 😂 ====================== DLC TROPHY PACK 1 Overkill Deal nine hearts of damage in a single hit. - There's a very simple solution for this. Head to the Trident Tutorial, break a few bottles of Bottle o' Enchanting to increase your level (these are in the chest), then use the Anvil to enchant the Trident with Riptide III and Impaling V. If you don't know what you are doing then follow the Tutorial. Once the Trident has both enchantments, save your game. Now jump in the pool with the fish and hold L2. This powers up your attack. As soon as you let go of L2, you will propel yourself though the water and get the trophy. If it didn't work, reload your save but you should get it first try. Credit to Abuelo Rudo in a comment on TrueAchievements for this idea. Archer Kill a creeper with Arrows. The only reliable source of arrows in the Tutorial World is the Fletcher, who sells arrows and bows. So grab a load of Emeralds and head to the larger Village and buy bows and arrows from him. I would head to the area marked "Clay" on the map as this is a good place to get "Camouflage" and "Sniper Dual" at the same time. Librarian Build some bookshelves to improve your enchantment table. - The Library was quite annoying to find in the menu. It's under Decorations, eleventh row to the right in the menu. For Books, go to the Enchanted Book Tutorial. It's past the Potion Tutorial in a small house. There are tons and tons of Bookcases here. Mine as many as you want and then steal the Enchantment Table by mining it. Place the Enchantment Table and place your Bookshelves after you craft them around the Table to make it more powerful. You can get infinite books by buying Bookcases from the Librarian in the starting Village with the dupe glitch. Then place them and mine them for Books. Diamonds to you! Glitchy: Throw diamonds at another player. - On PS3, I just threw a Diamond at my alt. This can easily be obtained in the Tutorial Fortress using two controllers. I got this trophy earlier using an alt on my Vita. I had to throw 32 Diamonds at my alt before the trophy decided to pop! Adventuring Time Discover 17 of 40 biomes. You can get this in the Tutorial World when working on Map Room. On PSTV it popped when I had uncovered somewhere between 60 and 70% of the map. I suspect this could be done very fast using the Elytra but I am useless at using it! Repopulation Breed two cows with wheat. - You can easily get this in the Tutorial Fortress. From the opening area, head up the stairs, past the giant Minecraft sign and towards the tiny Village. To your left and right are staircases that take you to every animal needed for trophies. There's wheat already provided in a chest or you can harvest some. Just feed both the cows with L2 until they go into Love Mode and wait for the baby cow to appear along with the trophy. Passing the Time Play for 100 days. - Glitchy: PS3 version: I got this mostly by idling. I work from home so was able to keep an eye on it, but what can happen is, suddenly after 3-6 hours of being in the game and you idling on Peaceful Mode, the screen turns black and dumps you back at the XMB. I don't know if this can happen when the game autosaves (which might corrupt your save in the process), so I would recommend you make a backup to a USB once in a while. Update: While working on my PS3 Trophy World, the game did actually crash while it was saving. Everything in my inventory was correct but it spawned me back at the place I had previously saved at. Other than that, the save didn't get corrupted. - Glitchy: Vita Version: The game has never crashed for me but it seems to crash the console once you exit the game after playing for a few hours. It will get stuck in a menu (could be any) and you have to do a hard reset. I got the trophy finally by leaving the game running all night. The game was still running fine in the morning, but I had to physically pull the power cable from the console because even switching it off at the menu resulted in an infinite loading screen. Pork Chop Cook and eat a pork chop. - You can easily get this in the Tutorial Fortress. From the opening area, head up the stairs, past the giant Minecraft sign and towards the tiny Village. To your left and right are staircases that take you to every animal needed for trophies. Kill a pig, cook and eat the pork chop. You can always save beforehand if you don't actually want to kill the pig. ====================== DLC TROPHY PACK 2 Rainbow Collection Gather all 16 colours of Wool. - Glitchy: Your mileage may vary on this one. I did this in my friend's world. I have no idea when the trophy popped. I am assuming it was when I picked up all the Wool but can't be certain because the trophy "stealth popped" (which has never happened to me before on PS3) and I wasted ages trying to get it to work! Update: All sixteen colours of Wool (ten of each) are in a chest in the Banner Tutorial. This is definitely glitchy because picking them up from the chest doesn't unlock the trophy. Place one of each colour of Wool on the ground and mine them all. On PSTV it popped after I mined the last one. The Haggler Mine or purchase 30 Emeralds. - Use the dupe glitch and make a load of Gold Ingots. In the tiny Village at the start of the Tutorial (after the Farming Tutorial), there's the Trading Tutorial. In the second building to your right as you head South is a Librarian, who sells Enchanted Books, and a Cleric. The Cleric sells Emeralds for ten Gold Ingots. Just keep buying off him until he runs out of stock, wait for him to have weird potion-like effects coming off him and that means he has restocked, it takes a few seconds. Then buy more until the trophy pops. Iron Belly Stop starvation using Rotten Flesh. - See "Zombie Doctor" for more details and the easiest way to get this. Pot Planter Craft and place a Flower Pot. - You may have wondered why I marked "Clay" on the map I posted. The reason is that Clay mainly forms in Rivers and there are no Rivers in the Tutorial World. I only managed to find Clay in one other location and it took forever to find both. Fortunately in this location there is loads of it. On PS3 I got about 40 and on PSTV I found about 70, both in this same spot. The coordinates are: X: 208 Y:63 Z:345 Once you have some Clay, put in a Furnace and make three Bricks. Now turn this into a Plant Pot - eighth along to the right in the Decorations menu, you can't miss it. Stayin' Frosty Swim in lava while having the Fire Resistance effect. - Can easily be done using the Potion Tutorial in the Tutorial Fortress. The Tutorial forces you to make a Fire Resistance Potion. Go back to the Anvil in the small Village, Drink the Potion, mine a block containing the lava next to the Anvil and wait for the trophy to pop. Have a Shearful Day Use Shears to obtain wool from a Sheep. You can easily get this in the Tutorial Fortress. From the opening area, head up the stairs, past the giant Minecraft sign and towards the tiny Village. To your left and right are staircases that take you to every animal needed for trophies. You can craft Shears with two Iron Ingots, which you can find next to the Beacon tutorial. Shears are fifth on the right in the Weapons and Tools menu. It's a Sign! Craft and place a Sign. - You can easily get this in the Tutorial Fortress. Signs are listed under Decorations in the crafting menu, ninth on the right. the trophy will only pop once you place it, as the description says. ====================== DLC TROPHY PACK 3 Zombie Doctor Cure a Zombie Villager. - Glitched: From what I've read, this used to pop as soon as you pressed L2 using a Golden Apple (it says "Cure") after throwing a Splash Potion of Weakness. Now you have to wait at least four minutes for it to pop. OK, for this one you have two solutions. I was getting quite annoyed with this one - I wanted a guide that was as easy as possible and was determined to find an easy way to get it. I spent ages looking for an Igloo with a basement with a Zombie Villager in the Tutorial World but couldn't find one. I tried at least fifteen seeds I found on the Minecraft Forum and none of them worked. So I decided to use the genius idea of creating a Seed called "igloo" (14104035326464172). Doing that, I found a Zombie Villager in a basement in five minutes! Then, in typical fashion, the next day I finally found the Zombie Basement Igloo in the Tutorial World that I had spent ages looking for! By far your best option is to start the "igloo" (all lowercase) world and head ever so slightly Northwest from your starting point. The location is here: It's in a small Village, you can't miss it. In all the videos I saw, there is supposed to be a red piece of carpet covering the Basement, but the two I have found on PS3 and PSTV (both the same locations), the carpet is white. Remove the carpet, open the hatch, go down the ladder and you will find the Golden Apples and the Splash Potion of Weakness. Save your game in case anything goes wrong. I would highly recommend punching out two squares of the wall at head height to the right of the Zombie Villager to give you a space to make sure the Potion hits him (using Circle) and then easily feed him the apple (using L2). There's also some Rotten Flesh here so save, set the game to Hard, jump up and down until you start starving and then eat the Rotten Flesh for the "Iron Belly" trophy. To find the Igloo in the Tutorial World, go to coordinates: X:119 Y:72 Z:272 - but note that this one will despawn the Zombie Villager if you ever set the game from Easy to Peaceful and there are no Splash potions of Weakness. Honestly it's much easier to just do it on the "igloo" seed. Lion Tamer Tame an Ocelot. You can easily get this in the Tutorial Fortress. From the opening area, head up the stairs, past the giant Minecraft sign and towards the tiny Village. To your left and right are staircases that take you to every animal needed for trophies. There is some Raw Cod in one of the chests in the animals enclosures. Walk very slowly towards the Ocelots and start spamming L2 when they come close. This might take a few goes and I think it might be easier if you go into their enclosure and shut the gate behind you. Eventually one will come up to you. eat the fish and turn into a domestic cat, and the trophy will pop. Chestful of Cobblestone Mine 1,728 Cobblestone and place it in a chest. - Glitchy: This trophy HAS to be done in one sitting without exiting or closing the game. Using another player's world and taking and replacing some Cobblestone never worked as far as I know, but I mined 1,728 Cobblestone blocks, saved my game just in case and when I reloaded my game and put everything in the chest, nothing happened. I did it again without saving and it worked. Credit to Rodeokyle for this information here: https://www.playstationtrophies.org/game/minecraft-ps4/trophy/92696-chestful-of-cobblestone.html On the PSTV version, I did this in the Tutorial Fortress. There are lots of places where you can mine a huge amount of Cobblestone, but a good spot is right at the end of the Minecart ride where the TNT is. Just be sure to bring some torches and be careful as you can easily flood the area if you dig out too far to the West. Body Guard Create an Iron Golem. - I did this in my friend's world on PS3 and it popped with no problems - I just needed to place the head on an existing construction. To quickly and easily get this, either go to the Beacon Tutorial and mine four blocks of Iron with an Iron Pickaxe or better, or use the dupe glitch to make some. Put down one block, another on top and two on the sides of the top, for arms. I built a few of them in my world near the drawbridge: Pumpkins grow in the Farming Tutorial. Make some Shears with two Iron Ingots and press L2 on the Pumpkin to make a Carved Pumpkin. Put a block down in front of the Iron blocks you made for you to jump on and then put the Pumpkin on the top on the middle block. The Iron Golem will come to life and the trophy will pop. Renewable Energy Smelt Wood Trunks using Charcoal to make more Charcoal. - You can easily get this in the Tutorial Fortress. Put some wood in a Furnace with any fuel source to make charcoal. Now replace your fuel source with Charcoal and make one piece of Charcoal from another piece of wood. Music to my Ears Play a music disc in a Jukebox. - From the starting point in the Tutorial Fortress, keep heading South past the two giant statues. Immediately in front of you is a shelter made of Red Wool. There's a Jukebox here. Mine the Jukebox and take it back to your base and place it. There's a "mini-quest" in the game to find twelve Music Discs. These are hidden in abandoned Villages and at the top of Towers. You will find loads of the Discs just by exploring and looting but there's a great video here if you want to find one quickly (check the video description for the timestamps): Once you have a Disc, put it in the Jukebox using L2 to pop the trophy. You can remove the Disc by pressing L2 on the Jukebox. Iron Man Wear a full suit of Iron Armour. - Use the Dupe trick to make a load of Iron blocks, now convert these into Ingots. At a Crafting Table, build one of each type of the four pieces of Iron Armor. Equip them using Triangle and the trophy will pop when you wear the last piece. ====================== DLC TROPHY PACK 4 Beaconator Create and fully power a Beacon. - Use the dupe glitch to make a load of Iron, Gold, Diamonds and/or Emeralds (you could also use Netherite but I wouldn't bother). This can be one of a kind or a combination of all of them. You need a ludicrous 164 blocks to fully power a Beacon. Build a 9x9 block square base, then put a 7x7 block on top of this, then a 5x5, and finally a 3x3. There are three Beacons in the Beacon Tutorial area. You can't get the trophy here because the Beacon pyramid is too small. Punch the Beacons in the Item Frames off the wall and you can mine the Beacon sat on the Gold blocks to give you three ready-made Beacons. Place a Beacon on top of your pyramid in the center square on top of the 3x3 construction. The trophy will pop as soon as the Beacon activates, you don't need to select the Beacon powers. The Beginning. Kill the Wither. - Make sure you have a bow and arrows. The Wither will fly around and destroy everything, just keep shooting it until it has half health. It will then drop more to ground level so finish it off with your sword. You can activate a Beacon or two so you regenerate health, but on Easy this is not a hard fight at all. You can also wear a Wither Head to get the Camouflage trophy at the same time. See "The Beginning?" below. The Beginning? Spawn the Wither. - In the Banner Tutorial location is a chest with five Wither Skeleton Skulls. Take these and then go to the Potion Tutorial. Those weird red plant things that are growing are Nether Warts and grow in Soul Sand, which is normally only found in The Nether. Mine the plants and the Soul Sand. Head back to your base and build the Wither under the area with the drawbridge using Soul Sand - place a block, place a block on top and then place two blocks on the side, as below: As with the Iron Golems, place a block in front of this that you can jump on to place the heads. You need to put a head on each top block, so three in all. Make sure the game is set to Easy and it is nighttime or this won't do anything. It will absolutely destroy everything but that's OK, you can exit the game without saving once it has been spawned and defeated. The trophy will pop as soon as the Wither spawns. Tie Dye Outfit Dye all 4 unique pieces of Leather Armor. - This is another one where the menu drove me insane. Some guides talk about cauldrons, I must have watched several YouTube videos before finding one specific to the PS3 for this. Simply press R2 three times in the crafting menu at a crafting station and you will be in the right place. Firstly, make sure you have renamed any existing Tutorial Worlds you have built. In the Load menu, press Triangle and rename your saves. If your save is called "Tutorial", any new Tutorial save will be overwritten. Your best bet for this is to start a brand new game in the Tutorial World. In the Banner Tutorial area is a chest with ten of every colour of Dye in the game. Grab these and head to the Farming Tutorial area. Kill all the cows, horses and the donkey for leather, then go to the Conduit Tutorial area Crafting Table. Save your game. Make one piece of Leather Armor, dye it, then exit the game without saving. Reload your game and rinse and repeat until you have made and dyed all four pieces of Armor. The trophy should pop when you have dyed the last one. You can then delete this save as Leather Armor is useless compared to the Diamond Armor you can easily make if you are following this guide. You also need the cows for other trophies. Trampoline Bounce 30 blocks upward off a Slime Block. Glitchy: I did this in my friend's world but even then I probably tried to get it a dozen times before it finally popped. In the Trophy Worlds I have built on PS3 and Vita, I found a good spot for this but it will take a bit of work and a bit of trial and error to set up, even using this guide. Make sure you have a Diamond Pickaxe using the dupe glitch, then go to the Conduit Tutorial area and mine all the Slime blocks that are sat on the floating platforms in the water. Now head up to the Elytra Tutorial area where the giant ladder is. You will find a passageway to a giant tower. Also note I have placed Slime blocks on the stairs: When you get to the top of the Tower, you are want to mine the Obsidian block: Save your game and then jump through the hole. You should land on one of the Slime blocks you placed: Save again then mine through the block you landed on. You will take damage but not die. Now mine 14 blocks down where you landed and make a staircase towards the water so you can easily get out. Put some torches in so you can see what you are doing. Now go back to the place you started up the staircase you just dug out and dig down nine blocks, then climb nine blocks up using Slime blocks. In the next block in the escape tunnel/staircase you made, mine down ten blocks and build up by placing ten Slime blocks. It will look like this. Head back up the Tower and then mine the Emerald block. We mined the Obsidian block because it's easier to place Slime on the stairs but we want to fall through this hole for the trophy. Build a structure around the hole so you have a better chance to fall straight down: Build four blocks high on four sides of the hole. Now this is where some trial and error comes in. Save and then jump off. If you collide with anything on the way down, reload your save and go and destroy it. As soon as you can fall straight down without dying you are guaranteed to pop the trophy. Overpowered Eat a Notch Apple. - In the starting area, use an Axe to hack away at the tree leaves until you get an Apple. Use the dupe glitch and make eight Gold blocks, then make an Enchanted Golden Apple - the regular Golden Apple won't work. In a Crafting Table go to food and the menu you want is already selected. eat the Enchanted Golden Apple and the trophy will pop. ====================== DLC TROPHY PACK 5 None of these trophies are glitched! If anything doesn't pop it's because you didn't use the right settings. It must be Online and Public. For the Battle trophies, set the mode to Competitive and the game duration to Long. This gets rid of the randoms, of which there are many. Be sure to ready up fast by pressing Square so randoms don't join before the game starts. You can kick them at the end of the game if need be. Mine! Open every chest in a Battle mini game arena in one round. - I used this video on Cove and it worked perfectly. Cavern has far too many annoying platforming sections. You can easily get this with two controllers. 'Tis but a scratch Take 100 damage in a round of a public Battle game. - Make sure the game is set to Long, keep jumping into the fire on Cavern and healing yourself. You can easily get this with two controllers. Cupid Kill 2 players in a round of public Battle mini game using a bow and arrow. - I self-boosted this very easily with three controllers. Hunger Pain Kill a player while you are starving in a Battle mini game. - I self-boosted this very easily with two controllers. ...has become the Master Win 3 public Battle mini games in a row. - I was dreading this one, but it was actually very easy. By setting the game to Long, the randoms all get bored and leave before the game ends, so I never actually had to kick anyone. I self-boosted this very easily with two controllers, getting other Battle trophies in the first two games and then just suiciding my alt to quickly win the third game. The Student... Win a public Battle mini game. - I self-boosted this very easily with two controllers. ====================== DLC TROPHY PACK 6 The End... Again... Respawn the Enderdragon. - After killing the Dragon and jumping through the Portal, you will spawn back in the starting area of the Tutorial World. You want to make four End Crystals, for which you will need seven Glass, a Ghast Tear and an Eye of Ender. Eyes of Ender can be made from an Ender Pearl and Blaze Powder. You can buy Ender Pearls from the Cleric in the starting Village. You probably have enough Blaze to make four additional Eyes of Ender but if not, go farm some in the Nether - see "Into The Nether" for more details. There are ten Ghast Tears in the Potion Tutorial area that you probably haven't used yet. The Librarian in the starting Village sells Glass. Make four End Crystals at a Crafting Table - they are a Mechanism and are the seventh item along to the right in the menu. Grab some Glass Bottles for the "You Need a Mint" trophy. Head back to the End Portal, jump in and place the End Crystals as shown in the video here: When you place the last End Crystal the trophy will pop. Super Sonic Use an Elytra to fly through a 1 by 1 gap while moving faster than 40 m/s. - Follow my guide for "Trampoline". Then climb the Tower and equip an Elytra - you can punch one out of an Item Frame. Save your game just in case you die. As soon as you fall through the hole with the Slime below it. start mashing the Cross button. Make note of where you landed, then block off the other block with Slime in, as you need a 1x1 gap. Then repeat and the trophy should pop. I got it first try doing it this way. You Need a Mint Collect Dragon's Breath in a Glass Bottle. - Glitched: On PS3. this refused to pop for me in the first Dragon fight and didn't seem to want to pop after respawing it. It eventually popped. It seems that other people have had this problem as well: If this happens to you, BlackSquirrell1 suggested dropping the bottle with Dragon's Breath in it and picking it back up again a few times. On PSTV it popped immediately. Equip a Glass Bottle. The dragon will belch pink stuff. Jump into this pink stuff and spam L2 until you collect some. Dry Spell Dry a Sponge in a Furnace. - Follow the guide for "The Deep End" and pick up the Sponge the Elder Guardian drops. Then stick it in a Furnace, add some fuel and the trophy will pop when it has dried. ====================== DLC TROPHY PACK 7 Taste of Your Own Medicine Poison a Witch with a Splash Potion. - If you want to get this out of the way with a guaranteed spawn spot for the Witches, you need to start a new game which by default will be set to Easy. Don't ever change the game to Peaceful or they will permanently despawn from the world and you will have to find them in the wild instead. First we need to make a Splash Potion of Poison. Unfortunately, the Potion Tutorial is missing an ingredient - a Spider Eye. Head out into the wilds at night and hunt Spiders until you have an eye - you only need one as you can make up to three potions at once with it. Once you have one, head to the Potion Tutorial area. Fill three Glass Bottles with water and put them on the Brewing Stand. Add Blaze and a Nether Wart to make an Awkward Potion. Now remove the Nether Wart and add the Spider Eye to make a Potion of Poison. Now head to the Firework Tutorial and grab some Gunpowder. Add this to the Brewing Stand to make a Splash Potion of Poison. Head to the area in the video below, there are three Witches here. You will know you are in the right place because there is a giant Witch statue in the area! Beam Me Up Teleport over 100 meters from a single throw of an Ender Pearl. - Buy some Eyes of Ender from the Cleric using Emeralds obtained using the dupe glitch. Head to the Elytra Tutorial where the ladder is. There's a passageway leading to the top a giant Tower: Climb up this Tower and save. Throw an Ender Pearl into the water, as far away as you can. It will take a few seconds but you will teleport and the trophy will pop. Camouflage Kill a Mob while wearing the same type of Mob Head. - You have a few options here. In the Banner Tutorial area are five Wither Skeleton Skulls. You can spawn and kill the Wither while wearing one of them. There are also five Creeper Heads in the same chest, so this is probably the easiest option. Simply put on a Mob head and go and kill the Wither or a Creeper depending on the Mob Head and the trophy will pop. There are also two Skeleton Heads at coordinates: X:353 Y:70 Z:341 in a chest, in front of a giant Skeleton statue. Map Room Place a fully explored Map into an Item Frame. - Create the full Tutorial World map by exploring and place it in an Item Frame. You don't even need to build an Item Frame, just use one of the ones in the Tutorial Fortress. Here are several completed Maps near my base: The trophy will pop as soon as you put it in the Frame. If you invite other players into your world they just have to punch the map out of the Frame and re-place it. Free Diver Stay underwater for 2 minutes. - Easily obtained in the Tutorial Fortress after creating a Conduit using the Conduit Tutorial. Super Fuel Power a Furnace with Lava. - Easily obtained in the Tutorial Fortress. There's a pre-filled lava Bucket next to the Anvil in the small Village at the start, go to the Conduit Tutorial area and there's a pre-built Furnace you can use. Saddle Up Tame a Horse. - You can easily get this in the Tutorial Fortress. From the opening area, head up the stairs, past the giant Minecraft sign and towards the tiny Village. To your left and right are staircases that take you to every animal needed for trophies. Rather than bother doing this trophy properly, it will unlock when you tame a Llama, so just do the "So I got that going for me..." trophy and you will get it. ====================== DLC TROPHY PACK 8 None of these trophies are glitched! If anything doesn't pop it's because you didn't use the right settings. It must be Online and Public. For the Snowball Tumble trophies, there is no way to stop randoms, of which there are many, from joining your game. I got some of these just by pure luck. They will join at the end of the current round. If you ready up quickly then you should have the first round to yourself to get things done. The Wiki says that the maximum number of players on PS3 is eight, so it should be possible to block off a lobby. Snow Storm Hit a single Player with 25 Snowballs in a single public round. - You can easily get this with two controllers, just ready up fast by pressing Square on both controllers. Get your alt in a position where they can't fall backwards and just spam them with snowballs until the trophy pops. Back from the Dead Win 3 rounds in a row after one of the opponents has won 2 rounds. - I got this with two controllers but must have been extremely lucky because all previous attempts at this failed due to randoms joining the next round. You might want to boost this and block off a lobby with eight controllers/consoles/people etc. S-No Throw Win a single round of Snowball Tumble without throwing any Snowballs. - You can easily get this with two controllers, just ready up fast, start the game with no randoms and have your alt jump in the lava. Snowplough Push three Players into Lava using Snowballs in a single public round. - As the guide here says, this does NOT have to be three unique players OR done in a single round. I actually got this with four controllers connected but that was probably unnecessary. https://www.playstationtrophies.org/game/minecraft-ps4/guide/#item-78 Hotshot Hit a Player with a Snowball while falling into the Lava. - You can easily get this with two controllers, just ready up fast, start the game with no randoms and have your main jump in the lava whilst spamming snowballs at your alt. Overlord Stay on the top layer while winning a round in a Snowball Tumble Mini Game. - You can easily get this with two controllers, just ready up fast, start the game with no randoms and have your alt jump in the lava. Underdog Win a Tumble game whilst on the lowest layer in a Snowball Tumble Mini Game. - You can easily get this with two controllers, just ready up fast, start the game with no randoms and have your alt jump in the lava after your main has gotten to the bottom layer. You can either jump through existing holes or make your own by throwing snowballs at the ground. ====================== DLC TROPHY PACK 9 Great View From Up Here Levitate up 50 block from the attacks of a Shulker. - MASSIVELY GLITCHED! This trophy REALLY did my head in. The tl'dr is: using Ender Pearls does NOT work, using a Potion of Levitation does NOT work. Literally nothing worked until I read a comment on PSTrophies.org. What you need to do is build a tower of 50 blocks (I made it 52 just to be sure). Then pour a bucket of water over the top, which turns the tower into a giant fountain. Now get hit by a Shulker and levitate towards your fountain. As soon as you are in the water, hold the Cross button. This will make you swim up to the top and pop the trophy. Credit to Hadi77KSA for this information here: https://www.playstationtrophies.org/game/minecraft-ps4/trophy/182564-great-view-from-up-here.html Knowing what to do on PSTV, I got this trophy immediately. Build a protective barrier in front of yourself to prevent the Shulker attacks from hitting you, then rapidly build upwards. Empty your bucket and then float downwards, then get hit and swim up. I've read of people trying to find End Cities for hours with no joy. Fortunately, you will get one immediately on the Tutorial World. I have tested all of this on both PS3 and PSTV and it works flawlessly. As soon as you spawn into The End through the End Portal, turn to your left and start digging out. You will find the exit immediately. Walk forward and then turn right and make some steps. You are now facing the area the Dragon is in. Turn right and move forward. The Portal you need is right in front of you. Build upwards near the Portal and throw an Elder Pearl through it. I don't know if Maps work in The End but an Overwork Map's coordinates definitely do, and I was able to reliably navigate using them. You can see the coordinates in the photo below (note the tower is one I built previously to get up): You will now spawn in an End City. If you have the difficulty set to Peaceful, then nothing will appear but when you save, exit the game and set it to Easy it will spawn in. There are Shulkers immediately in front of you. Here's a photo of my (ridiculous) construction in front of the Shulker spawn location: To get back to the area with the Dragon, see the image below. Again, the tower you see is one I built previously. Let it go! Walk across the surface of a deep ocean by freezing the water with Frost Walker boots. - This is actually not very hard, you just need a bit of patience. 1) Dupe a load of Emeralds using the glitch and go to the Trading Tutorial area. Go in the second building on the right where the Librarian and Cleric are. 2) Interact with the Librarian. The first few items in his inventory are always the same. 3) As soon as you are able to buy Glass, save the game and quit. 4) From here on in we are going to be buying the Glass, and if we don't get Frost Walker I or II (I always seemed to get II for some reason), exit the game without saving. 5) Load the game and buy the Glass again and see what you get from the RNG. Keep doing this until you get it. I think it took me thirty tries the first time and on PSTV, about ten. Even on PSTV, the game loads in quickly as I believe it retains some of it in memory, so this isn't too painful a process. There are also two other Librarians at the larger Village at coordinates: X:-156 Y:65 Z:51 - I've also market it on the Map at the top of this ridiculously long post. They will also have RNG Enchanted Books AFTER you buy Glass, so the process is identical. This video covers the process very well, although it's a different Tutorial World and the order of items isn't quite the same. Once you have the Enchanted Frost Walker Book, take a pair of Boots (they can be Diamond) and put them in the Anvil with the Book. Use a few Bottle O' Enchanting if your level isn't high enough - the Cleric next to the Librarian in the starting Village sells these. You will need to travel to the Ocean Monument (again see map above) to reach a Deep Ocean biome. Put the Boots on and walk off a surface close to the water. If you jump or fall in they won't work. Keep walking on water until the trophy pops. Note, on the Vita version, the boots make all the scenery disappear and are basically useless! So I got that going for me... Lead a caravan containing at least 5 Llamas. - You can easily get this in the Tutorial Fortress. From the opening area, head up the stairs, past the giant Minecraft sign and towards the tiny Village. To your left and right are staircases that take you to every animal needed for trophies. The information here is correct: "In a fresh Tutorial world, walk straight forward and under the giant pickaxe, then make a hard right and walk up the stairs to find the stable. Directly in front of you is a chest with a Lead for the taking. There are also many bales of hay which you should smash and collect some of. Now feed and tame two of the four llamas, then feed the tamed llamas again to make them get down in love mode for your fifth llama. Now attach the lead to any of the five llamas and walk around (open the doors to any llamas if you haven't so they can follow you)." https://www.playstationtrophies.org/game/minecraft-ps4/trophy/182567-so-i-got-that-going-for-me-.html However, I was getting very annoyed because I couldn't work out how to put the Llamas into Love Mode. You need to feed them hay until they won't eat any more, then with your BARE HAND, tame them with L2 then go back to using the hay again to finally put them into Love Mode to breed the last Llama you need. I would also save before you do this because sometimes the Llamas will transform into a mobile Chest instead of going into Love Mode. Once they do that there doesn't appear to be a way of undoing it. The Deep End Defeat an Elder Guardian. - OK, this one is pretty simple. Just remember that if you ever change the difficulty to Peaceful, the Elder Guardians will despawn from the game permanently. Look at the Map I posted at the top to see where the Ocean Monument is in the Tutorial World. Now, head to the Trident Tutorial, break a few bottles of Bottles o' Enchanting to increase your level (these are in the chest), then use the Anvil to enchant the Trident with Riptide III and Impaling V. If you don't know what you are doing then follow the Tutorial. This is the only weapon we will need. We are going to need a Pickaxe so bring a Diamond one as well. Use the dupe glitch to make a load of Iron blocks. Turn these into Iron Ingots and make a load of Buckets. Now go to where the cows are located in the Farming Tutorial area and fill all the Buckets with milk by using them on the cows. I know this sounds weird but trust me! Equip Diamond Armor if you don't already have some. It's going to be pretty hard to die in this fight unless you drown but we will come to that in a moment. Head over to the Ocean Monument at coordinates: X:280 Y:62 Z:-103. Your goal is to mine through the Ocean Monument where the pillars are, as the Elder Guardians are hidden inside the pyramid. Credit to https://minecraft.fandom.com/ for the image. This is why you need the milk - the Elder Guardians defend the Monument by giving you Mining Fatigue, which prevents you from breaking through and attacking. You will see an Elder Guardian briefly flash up on your screen and "curse" you. So when this happens, drink the milk and mine the Monument. Then with the Trident, Hold L2 and release, you will be propelled at them and will quickly kill them. Remember to pick up the Sponge they drop for the "Dry Spell" trophy. If you are building a Trophy World, it's a nice touch to steal the Conduit from the Conduit Tutorial and place it near the Ocean Monument. I found the perfect place - a cave with a very nice sandy pool at the bottom at X:316 Y:43 Z:185. Before heading there, go to the giant Prismarine Creeper Statue by the entrance to the End Portal (see "The End?" trophy details) and dig a load of Prismarine blocks. You know how to assemble the Conduit but the game doesn't teach you how to make the frame. Follow this guide here: https://wiki.sportskeeda.com/minecraft/conduit#conduit-2 Basically, you want to dig a 5x5x5 hole, then assemble the Conduit in that. It's fine if the top of the frame is just above the surface of the water, the Conduit still works. Now you can stay underwater permanently in the Ocean Monument area. Change of Sheets Dye your bed a different color. - You can easily get this in the Tutorial Fortress. There's a bed in the building on the right at the small Village after the starting area. You need to mine the bed to pick it up. You can just pick a bunch of flowers where you spawn at the start to make a Dye. Dyes are under Decorations in the crafting menu, sixth to the right. There is also ten of every Dye in a chest in the Banner Tutorial area. To find beds to dye in the crafting menu, tap R2 three times and then R1 once. Feeling ill Defeat an Evoker. - Evokers will permanently despawn from your world if you ever switch the game from Easy to Peaceful! This is another easy one. Just grab your Weapons and Armour and head to the Woodland Mansion at coordinates: X:-318 Y:67 Z:-271 - I have marked it on the Map at the top of this post. You will know you are in the right place because there's a giant Evoker statue here, along with the entrance to the Mansion. . Head up the stairs - they will spawn on this floor. Look around and you should find one pretty quickly. Just mash it with your Sword and it should die pretty quickly. Cheating Death Use the Totem of Undying to cheat death. - There's a guaranteed drop of a Totem of Undying in the Tower with a Beacon at coordinates X:-225 Y:73 Z:57. It's near to the larger Village and is next to a weird Mushroom Island with Mushroom cows. Climb the Tower, loot the chest and save. Jump off the Tower to activate the Totem by falling to your death and pop the trophy, then reload your save. This video shows it all perfectly. On the Vita version it's quite hard to see landmarks in the distance because of the pop-in. Many thanks to The Minecraft Architect for this excellent video, which I have referenced a few times in this guide. ====================== DLC TROPHY PACK 10 Sleep with the Fishes Stay underwater for one full day without using potions. - You can easily get this in the Tutorial Fortress after completing the Conduit Tutorial. It should take about twenty minutes to pop the trophy. Also, see "Castaway", below. Castaway Eat nothing but Kelp for 3 days. - You can easily get this in the Tutorial Fortress. Kelp grows abundantly around the Conduit Tutorial area. Harvest some, then cook it in a Furnace to make it edible. Play on Easy to get hungry and eat Kelp. Since you are playing on Easy, if you have the Conduit activated, go into the sunken ship near the Conduit and go into the cabin. Close the door so no monsters attack you. If you don't move around then you won't get hungry, so you can safely AFK this. It will take an hour for the trophy to pop. You can get "Sleep with the Fishes" and "Free Diver" at the same time. Alternative Fuel Use a Dried Kelp block as fuel in a furnace. - Glitchy: You can get this in the Tutorial Fortress. This trophy also did my head in. Firstly I couldn't find the Kelp blocks anywhere in the crafting menu. They are under Decorations, second item on the right. You will need 81 dried kelp to make a single block. The next problem I had was the trophy will NOT unlock unless you make a furnace yourself. Using a pre-made furnace will stop the trophy from unlocking. Update: I was under the impression that you had to make the Kelp block yourself. However, Kelp blocks are floating all around the Conduit Tutorial area where the Slime is, on the floating platforms. So save yourself the hassle and just mine one of those instead. Using one of these popped the trophy for me on the Vita version, and I'm pretty certain I didn't use a Furnace I built either. One Pickle, Two Pickle, Sea Pickle, Four Place four Sea Pickles in one block. - You can easily get this in the Tutorial Fortress after completing the Conduit Tutorial. Sea Pickles grow all over the floor underwater around the Conduit. Pick up four and then place then down in an empty block to pop the trophy. Moskstraumen Activate a Conduit. - You can get this in the Tutorial Fortress by completing the Conduit Tutorial. I kept drowning because it seems the only way to break the crate the Conduit rests on is by using an axe, nothing else will work. There's a great video here: Echolocation Bribe a Dolphin. - You can easily get this in the Tutorial Fortress in the Conduit Tutorial area. Grab some raw fish (cooked fish doesn't appear to work) and spam L2 at Dolphins until the trophy pops. ====================== I have triple checked the coordinates and believe everything is correct, so this guide is now finished. HuntingFever
It sounds like 1 or more patches have really messed up the PS3 version at some point, because I did all of these trophies when they first became available all those years ago and had zero issues getting them.

Hey mate, how are you? Yes, this game was very frustrating at times. I have no issues working things out for myself or digging into things but I know a lot of people don'r have the time or patience for that, so I just wanted to do a brain dump while everything was fresh in my mind. I would say a quick brain dump but it seems that writing all this has taken six hours!

Thank you, you made my day. 🍻 I know it's going to be a bit annoying for people where I say "I did this in my friend's world..." but that's why I have asked others to chime in so I can make it more complete. I'm hoping people have some good seeds on Patch 1.84 for some of the more annoying trophies and will update the OP as and when anything comes in.

I've completely updated this to be a 100% guide using the Tutorial World. I would be curious if anyone with access to the Legacy version on PS4 could test this. I think this should also work for XBox 360 as well. The last version on PS3 and Vita is 1.84, on PS4 Legacy it was 1.76 and on XBox, TU69. It should all be the same. HuntingFever
IMO, this is good enough to be converted into a main site Gameplay Guide so see here for how to do it : https://forum.psnprofiles.com/topic/98674-guidewriters-headquarters/

The reason I decided to post it here is I wasn't sure if it might get lost with the other guides. There have been a few occasions in the past where the linked guide on this site wasn't as good as other guides, which are harder to find. But I agree, it would be easier to use with the guide format with all the hyperlinked trophies, so I will take a look. It shouldn't be too hard to copy everything over.

The Vita version is laggy and has a lower framerate than the PS3 version, so the first fifteen minutes will be painful but you soon get used to it, and then stop noticing it entirely. The biggest issue is the pop-in and a lot of the landmarks don't render properly, so it makes navigating a bit harder, but overall I really enjoyed it. If you are able to play on PSTV then I would highly recommend it, having the same controls as the PS3 version and being able to play with a joypad on a big TV is really good.

NueCuh
I’m wondering is there tips on how to get ender pearls easily? You probably said it in the guide but I look over things easily.

You probably said it in the guide but I look over things easily. Yes, it's in there. There's a huge amount of text - 12,500 words - so I suggest just using Ctrl + F to find things. Use the dupe glitch to give yourself as many Emeralds as you want - it's at the start of the Roadmap under Step 2. Then, go to the starting Village and in the second building on the right (where the Trading Tutorial is). There is a guy in a white coat on the right behind the counter - he's the Librarian. To his left is the Cleric. The Cleric sells Ender Pearls for four Emeralds. With the dupe glitch you can get as many Ender Pearls as you want. You have to buy a few things off him to unlock more of his inventory but the Cleric will always sell exactly the same items, so you are guaranteed to be able to do this.

shadaik
For the Elder Guardian, I just put a cow in my boat and parked that atop the monument. No need to fill up the inventory with buckets. I then hollowed out a tunnel to the top of the monument using slime blocks, because those can be broken in one hit even when affected by mining fatigue, giving me a dry tube into the top chamber from which the Elder Guardian was easy to kill.

Thanks again. I will contact the Guide Team and ask if this can be posted as a full 100% guide instead of a Platinum guide with separate DLC guides: because everything is so interlinked, it would completely break the point of what I am trying to achieve. Additionally, all the DLC is free and is effectively integral to the game, so I don't see why not (I'm pretty certain I've seen a couple of PS3 guides with all the DLC trophies, so I am sure it is possible). I have received the old physical PS4 version and did a quick test with an alt earlier and everything looks to be pretty much identical on that as well. I'm not sure if the PS4 version is most efficiently completed using creative mode glitches but I'm going to do it legit using what I know and enjoy playing the game.
baboon_overlord
@HuntingFever HI HF, sorry to "at" you. As the Minecraft PS4 resident expert, I'm just curious, do you think there's much of a demand for this guide for PS4 Legacy Edition? I bought the correct version of the PS4 physical as per your advice and have managed to crank out the Platinum and a total of 79 trophies in just over a day using my knowledge of the Update Aquatic Tutorial World, which is identical to everything I have written on here (obviously I wasn't playing for a day straight, probably 12 hours tops). The Villagers/Merchants are different, but I quickly figured out how to abuse the RNG to get Frost Walker 2. The Nether was the same but the coordinates were different - hard to explain but all the landmarks were correct once you found the Fortress (I knew exactly where to go and what to do once I found it), they were just higher up than on PS3/Vita. The only thing that is different so far is that "Map Room" unfortunately needs the nine smaller maps to unlock. Oh, and where the PS3 version requires you to use a Furnace you built yourself for the "Alternative Energy" trophy, on PS4 you need to use a Furnace you didn't build! Strangely, I have managed to unlock two trophies from other DLCs that weren't on the other two consoles - "Marine Biologist" and "Do a Barrel Roll" but "Ahoy!" does not unlock despite me having visited three Shipwrecks so far. I can see I can import this World into Bedrock, so maybe that will work, but this is where I have huge gaps in my knowledge as I know nothing about Bedrock trophies other than Realms and Creative mode glitch abuse. It would be really great if I could import a fully built out Trophy World into Bedrock and keep going to get all the trophies - do you know if this is possible? And/or is it completely redundant due to Realms or giving yourself any item you want in Creative mode using the command console glitch? I appreciate any advice you have to offer, it would be amazing if I could extend what I have so far to fully cover the PS4 version. If it is possible, that would mean people who own the Editions version could import and run their own Trophy World Realms based on my guide - that would be pretty cool! Thanks in advance. With Trophy Realms and the Creation Mode exploit making it possible to get most of the trophies in a few hours or day, a 100% Walkthrough for the PS4 version would likely only be of interest to Hardcore purist players who despise trophy realms/exploits and everything they stand for. Personally, I would focus your efforts on the PS3 and Vita versions where the trophies are a PITA to get, then come back to the PS4 version later on but focus on doing a mini-Guide for the buggy/confusing trophies instead of the ones which are easily obtained through exploits and trophy realms . Do note though, that cross-save was patched out years ago from all 3 versions of Minecraft so is no longer an option, though there is a chance it could be reinstated only for the PS4 version when the rumoured PS5 release comes out .

Hey mate, thanks for the detailed reply. Sorry for the delay, I wanted to try my hand at Bedrock before replying. Yes, you are 100% correct. I was able to import my Trophy World from Legacy to Bedrock but the game was abysmal - motion blur, lag, controls were funky, 80% of the items in my chests had disappeared - overall an infuriating, unplayable disaster. I was also unable to place Command Blocks with the glitch, so I had to write it off completely. I tried Bedrock but....I mean, the game is technically extremely impressive. But my main criticism even of the Legacy Edition was that the game basically breaks all the rules of making a good open world game and doesn't sufficiently reward you for exploration (I think comparing the Legacy Edition with Skyrim is pretty fair in this regard, personally: I spent hours and hours unlocking all the map of that game but there was always something cool at the end of the journey). Bedrock is probably a million times worse because the maps are gigantic - all filled with basically nothing. Sure it looks very nice, but it's basically an interactive desktop wallpaper generator with blocks at this stage - thanks Microsoft! So, I'm afraid I tried the Creative Mode glitch and then suddenly the game was ridiculously fun again. I had a great time building out another Trophy World, plus Chunckbase now works, so that's also very helpful. I still had to do a fair bit of reading and research to unlock all the trophies, and some of them are buggy ("Map Room" and "Smithing with style" pop when they feel like it, it seems). Plus I built everything out so my friends can hop on, so everything looks cool. The armour racks in the Egyptian Pyramid Temple (with a Beacon on top, of course) I made were unnecessary but man, that was fun to build. 😂 I enjoyed it very much (which is the point I suppose), and learned a lot of new stuff, so I have no regrets. I think if you use the Creative Mode glitch to hand yourself every trophy using only Bedrock then you are robbing yourself of an amazing experience, since you can get Legacy second hand for about the same price as the digital version. But yes, the game has definitely lost its way in my opinion. You have to hope that the PS5 version still has the glitch/world import in or I think the game is DOA for trophy hunters, unless you want to play this game exclusively for months/years! Anyway, I'll try and sort out the PS3/Vita versions of the guide with the Guide Team and go from there. Thanks once again for your help and advice.
