When will people learn - you cannot make a good movie from a video game!

You would think 20-odd years of garbage videogame movies would have taught this by now!

Its not like there is a lot of bad ones and a few good ones to keep people trying, there has literally NEVER been a good one. (The King of Kong, Indie Game: The Movie and Free-to-Play don't count of course, they are all great, but are all documentaries)

For a time, people thought you couldn't make a good movie from a comic book. And look where we are now. People have to try, sure it will ruin some of our beloved stories, but some day they might do it right.

 

Also, Nathan Fillion = Nathan Drake, too bad he is too old for the part. He was born to be Nate.

I hope they got some decent actors to play everyone from the game.

Besides Advent Children and the RE movies I can't remember a CGI movie based on a videogame that turned out well. But yeah that could be another option.

You can't do an Uncharted movie that sucks...it's basically a sort of Indiana Jones movie!
