This monitor is used for MLG tournaments If you want a monitor specifically for competitive play then you really can't beat BenQ. However I think the largest they come is 24", I haven't seen a 28" one. That being said, if you aren't opposed to a television I would recommend either a Sony or Samsung tv for the highest quality. They are a little pricier than other brands but I firmly believe they are of a higher quality in both picture quality and construction, and they can be found for pretty cheap online but they'll be used, a lot of them still have warranties though.
