A12
This is how Chrome works. No need to worry. Edited February 10, 2015 by A12
ExHaseo
For every tab you have open, there's a chrome.exe. That's just how Chrome works.
RobThanatos
+2 processes for opening Chrome, +1 process for each indivitual tab you open. Chrome is a very heavy duty browser, which is one of the few reasons I don't use it.
Neputyunu
Chrome sets every tab in an own sandbox, this is way every tab has its own process. Just a security thing.
Satoshi Ookami
2 chrome.exe? Oh, I wish I could see that once... (Having ~20 chrome.exes) But as others said, you will have one for each tab. Since you opened Chrome, you have one process for the whole Chrome and one for New Tab.
