KitanaiBouzu
I've got a friend who never got around to play the Last of Us, so I figured I'd borrow him my PS3.But the thing is, the day I purchased The Last of Us, I went out the next day to buy the Remastered PS4 bundle, meaning I don't really have any trophies on there, except some Left Behind trophies. But basicly, my question is, If I were to borrow my PS3 to my friend and he plays through The Last of Us, naturally aquiring some trophies along the way (since it's impossible not to) while I play other games on my PS4/Vita, and probably aquire trophies in the process, is it considered cheating?Naturally I would assume that yes, it's cheating, but as I search the website I cant find anything/anyone that/who states what is cheating and what's not, apart from the obvious auto-plat save glitches.Anyway, thanks in advance!- TheSuspect94
StrickenBiged
No, it's fine. The only thing that this site considers cheating is hacking your PS3 to unlock trophies without having to actually do anything. Provided your friend doesn't do that to your PS3, your account shouldn't get any stain against it.
NotAFoxAnymore
Lend him, not borrow him I don't think it's technically cheating, whether it's eligible to be flagged or not I'm not sure.
Beyondthegrave07
I actually don't think this is considered cheating on this site or any site for that matter. It'd be like saying your kid can't play Toy Story 3 on the ps3 while you play persona 4 Golden on the Vita and both earn trophies... Absolutely ridiculous!
Dreakon13
Why don't you have your friend make his own User Profile on the PS3, instead of using yours? Then he gets to play, you don't have to worry about the integrity of your account... everyone wins. Edited March 24, 2016 by Dreakon13
delboy_rules
It's not cheating but obviously you are no longer the sole earner of your trophies. I would take the advice from Dreakon13 and set your friend up with a different account. Unless you are quite happy for your friend to earn trophies for you of course.
