Oh that skeleton, you'll be farming him a lot for Pure Bladestone. It's best to sneak up on him from behind, then backstab, run away before he gets up to get out of his aggro range, then repeat. I've heard people saying they farmed it for hours before it dropped a Pure Bladestone. Also don't let him fall from the cliff to his death, it's not funny watching the item drop and wondering if that was a Pure Bladestone .
