I absolutely love monster hunter, logging easily 1000+ hours on my 3ds into MH3U and MH4U but i had never heard of the God Eater series until recently, and it looks very similar to Monster Hunter. I just wanted to ask around and see if maybe anybody had played both games and could tell me how they compare? Which is better? Is the Crafting system in God Eater as awesome as it is in Monster Hunter? There is nothing i love more than wearing the skin of my fallen enemies... NetEntity Posted August 20, 2016 Share Posted August 20, 2016 I've played God Eater Burst on PSP awhile back and I absolutely loved it. Plus, it has lock-on, no egg stealing missions, and an actual storyline which makes it perfect for the single player. Monster Hunter works best when you have buddies with you to slay the fearsome giant beasties, and as a loner I just couldn't get into it, getting bored quickly. Ragnarok, etc etc. All good games when you want big ferocious weapons to fight big ferocious monsters. just, different setting (story), art style. They all have their own silly tendencies to them.
