Popular Post VirtualNight
I had some problems to understand some things (especially because my english isn't good) & I had problems in understanding some trophies too, so I'm going to say here all the things that may stuck some players. The fact of being stucked is caused from the fact that this isn't a popular game so there are few guides, so for players like me, that don't live in a country with english as main language this may be a problem if there isn't a well written guide in theyr language. Firstly, the cards: they cost gold which is used only to equip the cards, if you put the cards off, you'll get the money back, so you'll never really lose the gold, that's why you shouldn't worry about using cards. They can be used once per level (per match, of course), unless you use the Mercy card (so you can use gold cards 3 times). The same cards' effects won't add up: so if you have a card about x2 damage & another about x4 damage, only the 4x damage card will count, while the x2 damage card will be useless. Gold cards must be activated manually (active skills), silvers work always for all the level (passive skills). The most boring trophy requires 6,666 kills with stakes, the weapon that shoot these stakes (i haven't found a database somewhere that shows the names & the pictures of all weapons) has a grenade launcher as secondary fire, the primary fire shoots things that look like those stakes that you can see in some movies used to hurt the hearth of a vampire. This is the only weapon & the only ammo that you can use for this trophy (so don't use L2 for the secondary fire), so it may be a good idea to do some of them while playing against the enemies that you can kill with one shot (monks, grim reapers, skeletons, mages, electric clowns). If you need only these kills, refer to this guide: http://www.xboxachievements.com/forum/showpost.php?p=5872341&postcount=4 I did some math, if you can get at least 170 kills per match, you will need to play 39 matches (after few attempts one match should take around 8 minutes including the time to start it again). I used this weapon during other runs/trophies/cards whenever I could kill with one shot (sometimes I damaged the stronger enemies like puppeteer with :ps3triangle: & then killed them with stakes) & I got the trophy after 17 matches with this method. My stats say that I have almost 14,000 kills, so killing enemies here is something that goes fast. Back to the tactic: to make it simple, after that you choose the cards (play in Atrium Complex!), start to play, after that you clear the first area, a door that allows you to go up will be opened, after the stairs turn right & do a normal jump to get the ammo right there. After the third area (with explosive barrels), a door that is on right of the one where you must go will have stakes ammo. During the next area, there is a glitch that will cause some enemies to not spawn (so you won't be able to proceed & you'll have to restart the checkpoint), to avoid this, when you enter in this area you must go immediately on the right to activate the flying barrels. Use the cards only if there are a lot of enemies, they will help you just to complete the level a little faster so they aren't so important. When you finish, return to the main menu & repeat. 999 kills with shotgun: although is pretty obvious which weapon it is... you have it from the beginning & as secondary fire it can freeze enemies. 666 kills with Soul catcher: is the weapon that the Death gives you right at the beginning, it throws serrated blades, to refill the ammo you must find the ammo crate that looks like a blue ball. Next, online: between the 2 english guides there is some confusion about the number of online trophies. There are 4 online trophies, 3 can be done alone. These 4 trophies (that have a green background on theyr picture) are: Real colleague: you must complete 10 levels in co-op, you can do this with 2 pads, but since both players must move in the same spot to make some enemies appear, it may be much better to play with another human player to have some fun (10 levels are almost all the campaign), although by this way you'll lose some kills that you need for some trophies. Promoter: go into Multiplayer, then the last voice allows you to choose the character, choose Eve then make a room (public or not, it doesn't matter) in Capture the flag mode & score 3 times, you don't need someone in the room, you can do this alone Immortal: 1000 kills in survival mode, to access to this mode go into Multiplayer, then choose the Survival mode, play in Atrium Complex, then kill the enemies in the area where there are explosive barrels and some stairs for the second floor (so that you won't have to kill the big enemy in the other area, who will keep spawning even if you kill him), go into the area where the big enemy is just to pick up ammo, then return to where you were before. Don't worry about deaths, you can die as much as you want, plus you can check your progress with the trophy in the stats from the main menu Road Roller: this is the only trophy that must be boosted, if you try this with only 1 player you won't unlock this trophy. So you must make a group of at least 3 people (you+2). I don't know why of this. To get fast kills, play in Unsees map, the booster stays in the middle & kills the enemies incoming with the Painkiller weapon (R2, to use blades) Small roadmap: all the levels have 1 or 2 cards to unlock, since each card is related to one trophy, you must get all these cards, you can try to get them during your Nightmare run (you can start with this difficulty from the beginning, isn't hard), but for few of them you'll have to back on the levels (only after you finish the run). After that, I went for the run on Trauma difficulty by using level reload (I don't know if starting a new run will reset the cards that you got, I didn't wanted to risk), use this guide to make this run a walk in the park: http://www.xboxachievements.com/forum/showpost.php?p=6152157&postcount=1 To get gold from enemies: rarely they drop gold, so the best way to get it is to attack them with , you should shoot a gold ball to them, keep using it to the enemies bodies & after some hits they will drop gold (do this especially if the body gets stuck in a wall or something else as they won't fly away), but be fast, of theyr bodies will disappear. Souls: they are green, they appear when an enemy's body disappears, you need them for few trophies related to levels (cards), or to change mode into a Demon: to do this you must collect 66 souls (souls gotten are shown in the middle-top of the screen, on the right of the compass), you'll become like a God for some seconds and you will kill the enemies without efford. Soul keeper (trophy/card): use the gold cards Dexterity & Double time bonus (you can use Speed card too, although isn't very important) & the silver card Mercy, this is the only thing that can help you in be faster, all what you have to do next is practice and skills, play on the easiest difficulty of course. Your times should be around: First area cleared, total time 00:36 Second area cleared, total time 00:58 Third area cleared, total time 1:40 Fourth area cleared, total time 3:55 Fifth area cleared, total time 6:00 Last area cleared, total time 6:55 Use Painkiller ( ) almost all the time, for big groups you can use Shotgun, if your time in 1 area isn't good, restart from the checkpoint, the timer will reset, hold to check the timer. Soul Redeemer (trophy/card): some vids make confusion (because for the first Holy Item they show you a secret location where you must go on the top of the building right when you leave from the first area of the level, but actually here there is nothing), to avoid this problem use this vid; for the second relic you can try with a normal jump instead of the fast one: Dark Soul (trophy/card): again, vids can make confusion, because of the last secret area, you may think that to go there you must proceed in the level but if you do then you'll have to restart the level. After the 4th secret (holy relic in the axis of wood), right from here turn back & go into the wall & you'll find a new area, now go all the way on the right, then go into the stairs area, on the top of the area there will be the last secret area. Treasure Hunter (trophy): find secrets is NOT easy, luckily if you find the same secret it will count for the trophy, use this playlist (is the best one, except for the first level) to find secrets while playing for your first time (known theyr location can help for extra health, ammo & armors, helpful for Trauma run), you can skip those too hard to reach. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FydpAT0552E&list=PLjeqJccvVjUAv5OjqkOZcr8wtuZQ6BgZM Imperfection (trophy): there is no difference in souls (only in colour, those from big enemies are red), you can't really know which souls are from dismembered enemies, so all what you have to do is dismember an enemy with a rocket launcher & then get his soul when it appears. You should have 100 rockets ammo sometimes so don't worry about losing rockets, after all you need 500 kills with rocket launcher too. Warlock (trophy): the ps3trophies guide says that you can use the shotgun to do this trophy, but this isn't true (about the stake gun I don't think it would be a great idea try with that way, for the Electrodriver I don't know), personally I used the Painkiller weapon (hold R2, then press L2 to throw the blades), isn't a great attack but I can say that this works 100% for the trophy (I have read several posts about people saying that they used this weapon too), but do this while playing on the easiest difficulty. This should be everything, the rest is in the guides where is the best alternate between them, sometimes is better one, other times is better the other one (https://www.google.it/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwj9hJj91pLPAhXpL8AKHVpHCwQQFggeMAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.xboxachievements.com%2Fforum%2Fshowthread.php%3Ft%3D501423&usg=AFQjCNEhbmGNAkNIVChAlrXEtpb37KfwxA) (other guide is from ps3trophies.org, I can't link it I don't know why) if i missed something or wrote a wrong thing just tell me. This platinum is pretty easy thanks to the cards (that allow you to pass some annoying parts without problems), it requires some grind (kills) but anyone can achieve all the trophies with some patience, the only very problem is to find 2 more people to boost 1 trophy. Meepy-
Just wanted to say very nice guide, covers what you need to know. Most of the secrets in the game are the same as the original game, so those videos will work as well for the most part, but the one you listed is good. As for the stakes, the official name for it is "Stake gun", there is also pictures available for each weapon on the Painkiller Wiki for anyone who needs a visual.
Sinthoras_96
The online Trophy can be done with only 2 people, if you are fast enough.
VirtualNight
The online Trophy can be done with only 2 people, if you are fast enough. I tried with a person & we never got the trophy, we counted the time & we did over 30 kills before 3min several times. When we tried with a 3rd person we all got the trophy at the first attempt, so unless the trophy description is fake & actually it requires less than 3min (such as 2:30).... or is just glitched for some people when they're trying to do it with only another person. KnAbrAvA
I got the trophy just now, me and my friend, so it's possible with 2 players, Unseen map, 5 minutes and 40 kills limit, the trophy popped after the 31st kill.

Yes, worked for my friend and I too. Thanks for the tip
hore
for the 30kills trophy i did it 2p with a 3m time limit; i believe the kills need to be done in the first 3 mins of the match starting they key is to use that weapon where you hold R2 and it spins blades, killing a nearby player in <1 second. You'll need a rubberband to hold R2 if you do it solo, though
