silver_pigy Posted October 22, 2012 Share Posted October 22, 2012 http://www.vg247.com/2012/10/22/the-walking-dead-collectors-edition-will-be-exclusive-to-gamestop/ The Walking Dead is going to turn into a physical copy with all 5 parts on one disc which will sell for $30 and a collectors edition which will be $70 but the collectors edition is only going to be at Gamestop. this is set to come out in December but no release date has been set yet for the EU. The compendium of the comics retails for $49.99 and the game digitally is $19.99, so you're not really saving much (besides the $10 due to the retail price of the game). If you go to Amazon (or one of those online retailers), you can find the compendium for about $30 or even less and can purchase the game digitally for $19.99 which can be up to $30 cheaper than paying for this. Now, if it came with (the original stuff and) a badass statue of the original survivors of The Walking Dead or even perhaps the characters in the game with a concept art book, then THAT would be worth the hard-earned dollar you're paying.
