The F rank Mugen Field no longer has anything I need. Played through parts of the story afterwards to unlock farming spots in Metal World, got my tier 4s to 9999. Next is unlocking farming spots in Fire World (tier 5s) or doing an I rank Mugen Field (tier 5/7/8, one of each).

 

It's funny how the Dimensional God still manages to sink G-Castle in Metal World. That thing has only 600k HP and literally deals no damage in the actual fight while G-Castle has close to 660m HP and deals around 270m damage to Dimensional God.

The anime is different compared to the game as things are left out and even shown in a different order, but the general story is the same.

 

If the Ys series does well I think other Ys games will receive a PS4 port too. I'd like to see all of them ported.

Figured they'd do something like that. 24 episodes are just not enough for everything P5 has to offer.

 

Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim, Ys I & II Chronicles+, and Ys: The Oath in Felghana are the Ys games on Steam that are not available on PS4. Since they already have an English version, porting them wouldn't be that much work. I hope we'll see those someday.

 

Need to do that if I want the plat in September. I have 11 days for the remaining Shampurus, that's not much for 272k Shampurus. It'd be fine if no Mugen Field and playthroughs were involved, but I need to grind quite a few in the Mugen Field and need to do at least 5 playthroughs for Dust Bunny and Sham-meow. Not sure I can do all of that. Have to make use of my time while I can still afford to spend that much time on the game.

I'm in a similar situation, trying to plat Toukiden The Age of Demons in September. Still need 65 more mitama and 6 Eye of Truth Masks from Manhunter, Windshredder, Terragrinder, Pyrogrinder, Harrowhalf, and Sableblade. Not looking forward to Terra and Pyro at all. Obtaining 6 mitama every day is a lot, I usually obtain 1-2 per hour after actively grinding for those. To make matters worse, I already obtained all mitama from Terra, Harrow, and Sable .

I stopped at episode 10. And Persona 5 actually has more than 24 episodes. That's what they intented at first, now they realized it's not enough, so there'll be more.

 

Not sure what's worse: Bad luck with the RNG or a game that's just time consuming at this point (MS no longer has troublesome RNG, that part is out of the way, it only takes long).

 

So, minor update: Got another 40k Shampurus since my last update and made some progress torwards the 999 hit trophy by giving Chou-Chou the skills she needs. Don't want to be done with everything else just to realize I still need this. Also almost completed another playthrough, just need the true ending and the doppelgangers. Will farm one more master point in the next playthrough to max out the last tier 5 Shampuru (Iron Plate) that I can get from master points.

 

Since I have to go to floor 60 of any Mugen Field to get the true ending anyway, I'm currently preparing an I ranked Mugen Field to do some Shampuru farming there before moving on to the next playthrough. The interesting floors are 61 - 69 (tier 5 CPU Big Sis, tier 8 Work Drill) and 81 - 89 (tier 7 Bigguns). All floors are on the tough route. The more important ones are Work Drill and Bigguns, I'll move on once those are at 9999.

Did you download the shadow oni DLC? The game pretty much begs you to take them in these quests. You can't get all of them there, though.

 

Thanks. The Mugen Field is still as annoying as before. The RNG is not terrible, but all these ship battle/multiplier/shop floors can go straight to hell. No one needs them, a ship battle triggered a trophy I didn't want just yet by giving me a Shampuru I didn't have. So now I have all types of Shampurus.

So I just got kicked out of a Mugen Field on floor 95. I didn't use an Out Bell, the enemies were still alive, I wasn't killed or anything. Now I can no longer choose "Press on" for whatever reason. I already saved. This is great, just great... Now I have to go to floor 95 again to farm Shampurus. The devs really did an amazing job with quality control, play testing, and debugging... I am so sick of this game right now and am looking forward to the end. 140k Shampuru to go. I'll probably just break the disc after the plat.

 

If anyone can explain why it happened, then by all means, do it. I'd like to know the reason & if I did anything wrong to cause this. If not, then it's just another glitch that should not exist in the first place.

I tested it out (finally) and it does work. If your Ultimate Soul attack is sealed (outside of the mugen field sealing it) you can change into another form and it will be unsealed.

update on my Mugen Souls Z playthrough. I've obtained a few paid DLC for the 7 weapons set and the ultimate armor and I'm currently making bank of gold to max upgrade them at once from 1 - 999. So far I have Plu- Syrma's and Chou-Chou's weapons maxed out (Seven's Sword and Seven's Linker) and I'm working on Seven's gun for Dees and Seven's Evocation for Supra. A billion gold is nothing to me now lol.

 

I also haven't been playing it as hardcore as I was with the 1st Mugen Souls game. 

 

Update: I have obtained the 9,999,999,999 g and Mugen points as well as level 9999 and I'm about to beat the Mugen field with a Max bet.

Finally made it past the 900k mark. There are four playthroughs left to do to max out Dust Bunny and Sham-meow. Other than that, there's the normal M rank Mugen Field & the tough M rank MF for some of the other missing Shampurus. There's Galactic God Arena for tier 12 Pilot, not sure I'll do that, can just get it in the Mugen Field. Boss! Boss!! Boss!!! is required for Paw Pad, CPU Little Sis, and CPU Big Sis. Lastly, there's M rank Mugen Field runs for the remaining tier 15 Shampurus.

 

Not sure in which order I'll tackle all of the above (other than finish the playthroughs first). Anyway, that's basically what my journey to the plat looks like from now on. There will be two more updates after this one, the second one will be for the plat. It'll be next weekend or in the week after that. Admittedly, I wasn't sure I'd ever get that close to the plat several times, but definitely won't stop now. It's not that much longer, I can bear with it for a while longer.

Finally made it past the 900k mark. There are four playthroughs left to do to max out Dust Bunny and Sham-meow. Other than that, there's the normal M rank Mugen Field & the tough M rank MF for some of the other missing Shampurus. There's Galactic God Arena for tier 12 Pilot, not sure I'll do that, can just get it in the Mugen Field. Boss! Boss!! Boss!!! is required for Paw Pad, CPU Little Sis, and CPU Big Sis. Lastly, there's M rank Mugen Field runs for the remaining tier 15 Shampurus.

 

Not sure in which order I'll tackle all of the above (other than finish the playthroughs first). Anyway, that's basically what my journey to the plat looks like from now on. There will be two more updates after this one, the second one will be for the plat. It'll be next weekend or in the week after that. Admittedly, I wasn't sure I'd ever get that close to the plat several times, but definitely won't stop now. It's not that much longer, I can bear with it for a while longer.

Nice work, those charm levels and shampuru are nearing the end .

Have to be honest with you before you make up your mind, I'm not fond of the game right now, it's entirely possible I'll stop at some point or at least take a break after the plat.

I'll think about it. Honestly the thought of going back to the 1st game after playing the 2nd game makes me want to boost FEAR 2 again.

 

In MS z I'm currently doing M rank Mugen field runs once a day after work, peon fuse, then grind that one fight that drops 150 of each tier 15 shampurus till bed then on my off nights do the peon fusing into my main characters till they're at the peons stats then continue M rank runs till I get the overwhelming chou chou trophy. 

 

Then go and do those hard as hell fights. Yes I know they can be won with luck but my luck with them has been awful.
