GHOZTPRIME
I found this on another forum and thought I'd share it here Bronze: 15 pts Silver: 30 pts Gold: 90 pts Platinum: 180 pts Level 1 - 0 pts Level 2 - 200 pts Level 3 - 600 pts Level 4 - 1200 pts Level 5 - 2400 pts Level 6 - 4000 pts Level 7 - 6000 pts Level 8 - 8000 pts Level 9 - 10000 pts Level 10 - 12000 pts Level 11 - 14000 pts Level 12 - 16000 pts Level 13 - 24000 pts Level 14 - 32000 pts Level 15 - 40000 pts Level 16 - 48000 pts Level 17 - 56000 pts Level 18 - 64000 pts Level 19 - 72000 pts Level 20 - 80000 pts "Platinums have nothing to do with your level. To be honest some of the highest level people are ones thats just play a ton of games (especially PSN games) and just rack up a ton of normal trophies vs someone going all out for a platinum. Someone who rips though a game like Uncharted in a single day and racks up a ton of Bronze and Silver is going to be ahead of someone who is grinding out something for a platinum on a game. I know a lot of people who are the same level as me and who are higher than me that don't even have half the platinums I have but they play more games where as I'm more of a play to completion type person who will play a game multiple times."-archizzy Edited June 13, 2013 by GHOZTPRIME

MoreTheVictim
My platinum rate is much higher than anyone else at my level, which makes me proud. The only things I care about are obtaining the platinum for EVERY game I play, having a completion rate above 90% and obtaining atleast 1 platinum every month. So far I'm doing fine with that. I think what OP was getting at is that you will get a higher level playing more games with less completions then you will playing a few games with more completions. i.e. many people around my leaderboard rank have tons more platinums then me, but I'm the same level because I have a low completion rate.
