That's how i and a few others were able to get it to pop. So, try again. Exit. Go into 'The League.' No other modes but that will pop it. yeah, unfortunately it didn’t work for me either. I went right into the League after the green-light buzzer for the win. I just finished The Rise to unlock The League, maybe you have to make progress in it first? EDIT - 3rd time is the trick.
