Hardcore Mode

Is there any advice for trying to get this trophy?  I am trying to start hard mode on hardcore now, but I am having trouble clearing the second level.  It's getting frustrating.  The game itself is fun, but I am getting frustrated.  Should I just play on normal and come back to it later?

Learn the level layouts and where enemies will spawn.

I played twice on Normal Hardcore Off that way i knew the level layout and you can unlock more skills for your heroes which makes the high difficulty playthrough easier

In Trine 2, I learned the hard way not to neglect the wizard, and the same applies here—he's actually pretty overpowered! Not only can you use his objects to trivialize puzzles and bypass hazards (such as blocking fireball traps and spikes), they're also fantastic for easily smashing enemies from a safe position.

 

Personally, I played through on Easy first, to collect all the items and experience, which made Hard/Hardcore via chapter select fairly simple.

Why does this game have so high platinum percentage? I see there is trophy for hardcore mode but 20 % of the gamers obtainded platinum, other trine games with the hardcore trophy has only 1-2 % platinum.
