SONY & PSN API

I was wondering about the APIs to get all the Trophy data.
As I understand it Sony does not offer an public APIs.

The only (?) way to get the data is by using this service:
https://www.psnleaderboard.com/

I guess this is used by this site for example?
But how reliable is it? What that service is shutdown or stop updating?

Can Sony for example block it?

There are APIs but they are undocumented or not meant for general public usage.

Here's an example of a PHP wrapper: https://github.com/Tustin/psn-php

AFAIK PSNProfiles uses these and/or similar APIs as well. Definitely not a 3rd party service.

OK!
But even these wrappers, could Sony chose change things on their end to make them unusable?

Yes, they've done it plenty before, hence why PSNProfiles has to find alternative ways to get user data sometimes. It's why sometimes you may get an error when trying to update profile, because PSNP can't connect to Sony's servers.
