Quick PS5 Question.

Okay so I've just set my PS5 up and gone to the game library and I've noticed that a lot of my games in the library have padlocks next to them? What does that mean? It's on some of my PS4 games I've played in the past.

If I'm correct those are the ones who require a ps4 disc. If there is no padlock it is a digital game

It means you're not allowed to play it. If you're on the account that owns it, either it's a PS+ game and your subscription has expired, or your licenses might need to be renewed. If it belongs to another account, then you'll need to set that PS5 as its primary console.

So would I be better off restoring the licence whether I need to or not.

I actually think it can also mean it isn't installed and needs a disc, I got the padlock with Shenmue 3 and it left after installing the disc.
